I thoroughly enjoyed the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament this year. There were some phenomenal games played. I was pulling for Auburn but that didn’t happen. However the Gators made it all the way. I wanted an SEC team to win. Actually, I wanted the CATS to win however we were plagued with injuries but we did go further than we had since 2019 which is an awesome achievement for a brand new team with a brand new coach. Unfortunately most of this year’s players are ineligible to play next year. That’s okay though because we still have some great players and Coach Pope will fill the empty spots with a lot of talent and then he’ll perfect that talent and I predict we’ll see some great things out of next years team!

And….that’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it!

Howdy ICNO! I believe next year UK will be a force to be reckoned with. How is your area recovering from flood waters?

The river is going down and in some areas as of today they’ve been able to start a bit of clean up. We have water again, but I’m not drinking it just yet. My imagination conjures up all kinds of sludge and muck from the river and I just don’t wanna drink any of that! I was so glad to have water back! I got caught up on my laundry and I showered which made me extremely happy! My son and daughter in law kept telling me to come stay with them but I didn’t want to impose. They didn’t work on Monday because of the flooding and they could neither one make it to their offices. My son was able to go back Tuesday afternoon and my DIL went back on Wednesday.

I don't blame you on the drinking of water part. A lit of schools were out last week. This week around here has been spring break but I do know McLean County Schools and Daviess County have been out. McLean will be out until further notice.

He brags so much that half of what he tells is not possible.

I have met several like him and they do get boring with that schtick…

Glad you all have water.
You can flush commodes and stuff.
 Due to flood and been off you probably have boiled water advisory
Here did for good couple weeks after week. Some areas maybe longer.
 The City of Hazard and Hazard Utilities pages kept posted what all was going on and when advisories lifted.
  We still have some businesses affected on East Main not opened back up yet.
Others have and a restaurant supposed to middle next week but gas station with food mart across is still closed and no date set when open.
 Understand got water in gas tanks underground. Something that was leaked or broken where could get in

I have been to Hazard, around 2004. City and street patterns is like Welch WV but twice the size. Welch and Hazard has gotten hit the same time in several past storms. Welch is still recovering from last two weeks…
