Yesterday, I fondly remembered my dear friend Leonard Nimoy, who would have turned 94. His legacy lives on in our hearts. Just days ago, Bill Shatner celebrated his 94th birthday — wishing him continued health and happiness. Live long and prosper, my friends.

George must have mellowed quite a bit since that last interview I saw of him where he referred to Shatner as a total a******. Leonard Nimoy himself was an inveterate smoker which eventually killed him. SAME THING KILLED JOHNNY CARSON. Those old school guys loved to smoke. Mr Spock never would have smoked. He would have seen the clear illogic of that. I actually assumed Shatner would have died from a venereal disease by now.

What is enjoyable is reading conversations I participated in but do not remember and come out enjoying my posts as if it came from someone else..

I am back to reading more from 3-4 years ago. The discussions are not much different from back then as they are today but discussing things at that time is enjoyable to read in a past tense…

Texas Tech is a team that's never been deep in the tournament very often and as a result they could not handle the pressure... Usually the team that wins is the team that's been there a few times before and is used to the pressure.... Plus playing tough games beforehand and winning them.... I think those two games Houston had against Gonzaga and Purdue they're very important as far as getting your mental attitude ready...

TT lost to UVa for the national title few years back.  I do believe they will return. They had no history in the sport until they hired Bob Knight and their basketball program awhile back got better afterwards.

Only time WVU ever played against Knight was against TT in NCAA tourney,  before WVU came to XII…WVU never played Indiana while Knight coached there…

We didn't watch any of the games after UK got beat. Husband watched a golf tournament.

Understandable. I cannot get into watching golf, that game is more interesting playing it than TV…
