C-SPAN is the same way with its D and R phone lines and the D line is full of concern trolls " i am a Dem but Trump makes sense" blah blah blah" I am suprised Howard Stern' s followers are not flooding those lines, Larry King and CNN in general had to get rid of the phone calls because of Stern.. It is outdated form of communicating just like the letters to the editor. I had not read the newspaper in over 15 years because they do not tell you everything no matter the slant...
I see that Ross Perot died today, I remember watching him on Larry King in 1992 and a caller asked if he would hold Stern's ****.
Local newspapers cover local politics which are more important in most peoples lives than national politics.
