Kinda like what the Dems want here, eh?

There's nothing like taking your freedom for granted.

My niece posted a video on Facebook of them cooking a live dog and pouring boiling water over it in a giant wok.  I couldn't watch more than a few seconds of it.  That dog was like my dogs and in such pain and just wanted out.  I don't want to watch that  😭
You didn't think that post through did you?

I had the displeasure of serving with some ROK's in An Khe Vietnam and learned first hand how the Asians prepare dogs and it damn sure doesn't include watching the animal evacuate it's bowels in the cauldron.

They stormed the East and the west and conquered China many parts of the Middle East.

They were so effective because they were horsemen, the composite bow (which was not effective in the land of the ice and snow where I come from).  They were hard men and disciplined too.  I do believe if you gave hitler 9 million men like me we'd all be speaking german.  It can do a lot.
Sensimilla? Is that the land you come from?

I don't know how a discussion about a infectious disease so quickly de-volved into the same old predictable and boring bullshit.

I know how, any discussion with Teabag and pos always end up that way because they share one brain and is barely functioning, the part that is functioning is cliche driven repeats anything they hear and always misguided...

So I order my ribs for super bowl.  Drive to the black per of town.  Meet my rib guy who has a truck and a big smoker that he pulls.  I go to window and say yeah, I'm here for my ribs ... I ordered them days ago.  Guy in the trailer says that talk to the guy in the truck.

I go and lay him and we shoot the shyte for a little bit ... asked me how I found him ... I said internet.  Pay and get my ribs.  Go in grocery store for some pop (it's pop, not soda) and I am only white side in entire store.

I get home and go to eat my ribs and:

So I texted him and he asked me how he can make it right and offered to meet me ... I just said if he could give me 2 free racks sometime that would be cool.

Seriously wtf?

I don't know how a discussion about a infectious disease so quickly de-volved into the same old predictable and boring bullshit.  But for the record: There has never been one second of my life that my 'freedom' was in peril. I do not fear our government. I think our taxes are, for the most part, a bargain considering what we get in return. And lastly, not one US soldier in any war died for "my freedom". If the outcome of every single war the US ever fought in had been reversed or they had never been fought at all, life would not be radically different than it is now.   So let's get back to talking about something positive like the pending global pandemic that will wipe out hundreds of thousands...of which, neither the Democrats nor Donald Trump have ANYTHING at all to do with.
Something positive like a pandemic?

And I hate my stove.  I am getting a new gas stove.

I swear my old stove was nice and went out maybe 5 years ago.  Got this stove and the way they designed it right away the black got scratches all over it and now one of the big burners won't turn on.  Thing is like 5 years old!  What a POS

I want a new washer and dryer too.  I am just gonna get a new stove and a new washer and a new dryer and have a dude come and run the gas line for me.

If I have my kids clean my stove and counters, they look like that the next day, lol.  Two or three times a week I make them take everything off and clean my counters.  Next day, they look like that, lol.

I'm just happy that something has come along that will bump that boring-ass 'impeachment'  nonsense off my TV and provide some kind of on-going suspense for a while until the new season of Better Call Saul.  Also, I'm ready for a post-apocalyptic world.  There will be so much less traffic.

"The Wuhan coronavirus spreading from China is now likely to become a pandemic that circles the globe, according to many of the world’s leading infectious disease experts.

The prospect is daunting. A pandemic — an ongoing epidemic on two or more continents — may well have global consequences....In the last three weeks, the number of lab-confirmed cases has soared from about 50 in China to more than 17,000 in at least 23 countries; there have been more than 360 deaths.

But various epidemiological models estimate that the real number of cases is 100,000 or even more....It is “increasingly unlikely that the virus can be contained,” said Dr. Thomas R. Frieden, a former director of the Centers for Disease Control ....."

Yeah, I don't see how you are gonna stop it now.  Its possible to spread before symptoms show up too.

I didn't watch the video.  So I don't know much about it.  I wouldn't want to watch another being suffer helplessly like that.  My mom ordered a lobster one time at a restaurant in Vegas ... hibachi and they literally put this thing in the grill in front of us and it was shrieking ... good thing my mom left yo use bathroom cause she ordered it and loves animals.  They cut the thing down the middle length wise and even then it was still alive and poured boiling grease over its insides.  I will never forget it.

I watched some cool documentaries on that and the viet cong were trying to infiltrate and they were also shelling with those huge azz mortars they hauled up onto some hill nearby.  The one guy in the documentary was outside the base I thinking hunting the viet Cong and one of those huge azz mortars landed nearby and I think he said it didn't impact into the ground and actually touched his leg ... they didn't arm the mortar before they shot it he said and it saved his life.

We have a duty to *cherish* freedom; not take it for granted.....and to protect it with arms if necessary.

My thought s exactly, Pos. That was sarcasm.

All I added was the threat to our environment China was. It all went from there.

"A Chinese doctor who was silenced after trying to warn about the outbreak of coronavirus has "died of the disease", according to reports.

Li Wenliang, 34, an ophthalmologist at Wuhan Central Hospital, sent a message in a chat group on 30 December to fellow doctors warning them of a possible virus outbreak.

Dr Li shared the warning after he noticed seven cases of a virus he thought resembles Sars, the deadly illness which spread in 2003.

Four days after his warning he was called to a police station to sign a letter in which he was accused of “making false comments” that had “severely disturbed the social order”.

He was one of eight people identified by police for allegedly “spreading rumours”....... and he ended up dead."

China is a communist country and speaking out against it leads to serious consequences.

I received a shipment from  Zhejiang a week and a half ago, a large box of rubber products.
I hope I don't catch anything from it!

We all have to die of something someday.
Rather not die of the flu though...

People die of the flu in their sleep after a  couple days.  Beats the hell out of shuffling around an nursing home in diapers for two years not knowing where you are...Or after a year of radiation and chemo.    I already know what's going to kill me; same thing that kills most people up here... winter. Call it whatever strikes your fancy.   But I have a long way to go before I get that weak. So it's not worth worrying about.

So they will find you frozen in diapers.
