Boycotting is a great idea, but where else will people go, not many choices anymore. And when eveyone pays poor wages, how can people boycott when they all do it.

Laws need to be set down so corporations dont get away with corruption.  The laws arent made for the people anymore, there made for greedy corporations and banks in my opinion.

Your post reflects the deep seated apathy that most Americans have in regard to seeking and implementing solutions to such problems...Especially when there are so many choices one can take....

All that diversity that is supposed to make us so strong now needs it.  We attract a bunch of freeloaders.

Don't even compare them to immigrants from before 1900 ... the types who actually made us stronger.

When I was little my folks weren't paying for all of us to eat lunch at school.  They told us to pack a lunch or my mom packed one when I was younger.

The issue as I see it, is that school lunches are more expensive than a lunch packed at home.  Also people already get food stamps if they are poor.  They can pack their kids lunch.  Wasn't that the point of food stamps?

They have been cutting out food stamps for the poor, now the middle class ends up in soup kitchens. There are alot of people that dont take advantage of these programs, their slave labor jobs in combination with high prices doesnt give much leg room for alot of people. Yes, I too packed b agged lunches at school.

Yes, really, Jackie.....I am NOT attacking you personally but shouldn't Humans as a nation focus on equitable solutions instead of harping about  these problems?   Humans are the only intelligent species we know of so far that deliberately hinder their own progress......Why can't the Human break that habit... We are still seeking answers...to that uniqueness...

Humans have an individual right and responsibility as well as an obligation to rise above all of that adversity and do without, if need be, in order to feed their offspring.....Why don't  they exercise them?   If I had to, I would work for a dollar an hour....That is the attitude everyone should have...IT IS POSITIVE...

I saw a picture on Reddit of one of those big school garbage cans on wheels loaded with milk cartons that were full and the janitor posted it.  He said something to admin about the food waste and they told him don't worry about it.

When stuff is just handed to you and it's not yours and you didn't pay for it, you don't appreciate it, as much as if you earned it.  You come to feel entitled to it and it promotes waste.  My folks would be so mad at me if I was dumping out glasses of milk at home when I was a kid.
