Hi Joanna, good to see you... I am not up to speed on this whole conversation here, but just from a quick speed read I feel compelled to join in and say this... I have read that all embrios in mother's womb begin all the same and are orignally sexless... and could go either way male or female. At some point they grow to be boy or girl... but orignate as one and the same. Call me crazy... but both male and female have nipples... they come stock on all models.
Good to see you too, and good point about the nipples
Be the change you want to see in the world

Good government requires HONEST people...unfortunately that seems to go against human nature...so I think we're pretty much screwed...

Yet another reason to hate politics...

Well, with what's in office these days from local, to state, to national politicians,  I would say all of us are screwed.

This is not to be denied. I am sure there are a few good ones however... so I won't slight them all.

There may be but the bad ones give even the good ones a bad name. I am a firm believer that term limits needs to be done  on state and national level.

It was the video(s) without which we'd have never learned of the incident.

You have people like Joanna who believe in killing an unborn child is a 'right', but rages against somebody who abuses an animal/child.  You can't make this level of insanity up. I tried to tell her, draw pictures and sent a video link on how children are made, and that if "pro-choice" people don't want kids they should stop doing the very ONE thing causing it. I don't think it has sunk in yet....

But as we see, it isn't about really having a 'choice' cause 'my body', it's really about not wanting to pay the consequences for our actions.
Question: what does it mean to allow our children to be sent to slaughter? And I beg to differ on biblical spin put to your own. Please re-read your bible for context because I believe it is you who are flat wrong on your own narrative vs that of the biblical god’s cause he is just fine with abortions.

Even in the Bible,  it talked of killing children for sacrifices not the same as abortion since they were already born but still murder. It also was stoning a woman for supposedly being a harlot.

Can you please point out where I said abortion was against the biblical God's will in this conversation?  I seriously doubt you can.

It's a little too early in the year to be making Strawman (fallacies), don't ya think?

Even in the Bible,  it talked of killing children for sacrifices not the same as abortion since they were already born but still murder. It also was stoning a woman for supposedly being a harlot.
Ten biblical episodes and prophecies provide an unequivocal expression of God's attitude toward human life, especially the ontological status of "unborn children" and their pregnant mothers-to-be. Brief summaries:

• A pregnant woman who is injured and aborts the fetus warrants financial compensation only (to her husband), suggesting that the fetus is property, not a person (Exodus 21:22-25).

• The gruesome priestly purity test to which a wife accused of adultery must submit will cause her to abort the fetus if she is guilty, indicating that the fetus does not possess a right to life (Numbers 5:11-31).

• God enumerated his punishments for disobedience, including "cursed shall be the fruit of your womb" and "you will eat the fruit of your womb," directly contradicting sanctity-of-life claims (Deuteronomy 28:18,53).

• Elisha's prophecy for soon-to-be King Hazael said he would attack the Israelites, burn their cities, crush the heads of their babies and rip open their pregnant women (2 Kings 8:12).

• King Menahem of Israel destroyed Tiphsah (also called Tappuah) and the surrounding towns, killing all residents and ripping open pregnant women with the sword (2 Kings 15:16).

• Isaiah prophesied doom for Babylon, including the murder of unborn children: "They will have no pity on the fruit of the womb" (Isaiah 13:18).

• For worshiping idols, God declared that not one of his people would live, not a man, woman or child (not even babies in arms), again confuting assertions about the sanctity of life (Jeremiah 44:7-8).

• God will punish the Israelites by destroying their unborn children, who will die at birth, or perish in the womb, or never even be conceived (Hosea 9:10-16).

• For rebelling against God, Samaria's people will be killed, their babies will be dashed to death against the ground, and their pregnant women will be ripped open with a sword (Hosea 13:16).

• Jesus did not express any special concern for unborn children during the anticipated end times: "Woe to pregnant women and those who are nursing" (Matthew 24:19).

Shall I go on?

Women are mentioned in the Bible all the time. In good context and bad, just as much as men are. And to finish your half-assed quote to push your anti-christian/male agenda, the second half of that verse says (paraphrased) Husbands don't be bitter to your wives.   There are rules for the husband just as much to the wife. I'm sorry if you draw false conclusions out of your own willful ignorance and loathing.

You can be passionate all you want, but let's temper some of that with knowledge before you go off half-cocked on a satanic rampage thru Christiandom, shall we? I think we both can agree on that.

Your fears of women never being equal are not unfounded. If you were equal to men, you'd be called a man. And if men were equal to women, they'd be called women. Even "equality" under the law will never happen 100%. Humans are flawed creature's, somebody will always want what somebody else has and more. The type of parity you are looking for doesn't exist - fiction. And the people promising it to you are liars, high-jacking your emotions.

To you being a radical left-wing feminist. Would you believe after talking to me for 6 years, that I'm not a racist if I said I wasn't? Now apply the same to yourself.

There are more rules for women than the good old boy network as the Bible was written by men.

The second part of the verse you seem to be quoting from saying (paraphrased) "women be subservient to your husband" says, "Husbands do not be bitter with your wife".

Usually that last part is left out to push the Anti-Christian/Male narrative, that men have no responsibility to the woman.  I'm not saying some false "Christians" don't use the Bible like everyone else to push their corrupt agenda's too. That seems to becoming more and more of a problem these days, as it was foretold.  But then again, that's why we're told to be savvy in the Lords word to discern such wolfs in sheep's clothing. Not to be fooled. But I'd be careful not to go so far as to lump all Christians into that category.

Also, it seems you are trying to compare biblical law, that is a guide to how to live spiritually obedient to Gods will on Earth with a document (Constitution) that is to establish how the US Government is to be governed - it's limit of power, responsibilities etc etc, as if it were a competing guide to the same thing. So, I understand your confusion.

1 Timothy 2:12 - But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

That look like the wife is your equal, or owned as property?

So there’s your context.

I think anyone who is abusive in any form lacks self control and self esteem, instead of being ok with themselves with all the human fallacies and imperfections they take their fears and insecurities out on others, very cowardly and exhibits a extreme amount of poor moral fiber, as WLU would say off to the FEMA camp with them

I’d say this pretty much is the summary of your bull. lol

So how do you proceed in helping them? And do you have sex, or just win with all that abstinence bull you’re peddling here?
