I have been to Eustis but that was 30 years ago, I am sure it is a different place today as well. Been to Leesburg, Ocala and those places as well.. The Villages existed back then but it was nothing. Deltona seems to be a similar place and it was very little back 30 years ago and it blew up big time in population...
Deltona has never become more than a bedroom community and while it's population is approaching 100,000 there is very little commercial in that town which by the way has a lot of problems with it's government/utilities. Deltona is over 30% Hispanic, mostly Puerto Ricans.

Eustis is in Lake County FL and the Lake commissioners just voted 3/2 to accept a controversial confederate statue of a guy who likely never set foot in Lake County.  The county's mayors are real pizzed off about the decision.

Lake has a long history of racism at it's finest.  https://psmag.com/social-justice/the-most-dangerous-place-to-be-black-64206

Lakeland (Polk County) remains commercial/industrial, that area is epicenter to Florida's vast agricultural shipping and inbound warehousing operations. There are some very nice areas though, plenty of lakes, golf and Joker Marchant Stadium where every day is a good day win or lose.

I kind of thought those two old morons who gave the Puerto Rican manager a hard time probably lived right in Eustis.   ;)

Could have, or Tavares or Mt Dora which all converge right about where that BK is located. What struck me, aside from the gal waving a fist, was that again we have folks referring to "speaking Mexican."

Donald Trump to visit The Villages August 6.

It will be blistering hot and there is no arena__should be a real short speech. There is The Sharon   https://thesharon.com/     but it's not very large.

W visited years ago and it got real ugly with old men in golf carts duking it out over protest signs.
Bah
We had the Smothers Brothers at the Chautauqua Institution yesterday.
Your old folks ain't got nothing on my old folks.

Looks fake.

Between the 8-9 second mark the projectile is on too high of a trajectory to hit the man standing there. It also disappears before it even comes close to making contact. I observe nothing hitting him.  You can see it more clearly at 25% play speed.
BEHOLD !!!

At the 8-9 sec. 25 speed, it looks like when he trows the ball it doesn't hit the plexiglass or glass. The glass doesn't look like glass, it looks like its bouncing back into place. You have a quick eye to catch this.

Well, let's hope they stay alive.

I tried to find out if LG, Samsung, or other brands get their parts from China. I was wondering why Element Electronics wouldn't just move to another market for parts. India, Indonesia, S. Korea?
