Pretty well researched article.
That awkward moment when thoughtful readers come to the realization that it was the supreme court that allowed the passage of this law (5-4), that all the more liberal leaning judges (Justices Stephen Breyer, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan) voted for the current iteration that this article is condemning.
A law supposedly so bad, that according to this article there was a collective "sigh" that drowned out "that one part of the courts decision". So the writer of this articles clearly indicates nobody supporting it really cared what was in the law or what was feasibly passable that they pushed long as they (democrats) got a "victory" for, you know .... that one president (the black one).
But somehow, it's those (dirty racist) Republican Governors that were not bought and paid for, and I do quote; these governors violated one of the fundamental tenets of state government that date back to the dawn of human greed: they refused FREE MONEY! The writer of this article, Charles P. Pierce, actually writes out in full disclosure that these Governors are not bought and paid for (as quoted above), that they were beholden to their constituents wishes that put them in office and not to the misrepresented "FREE MONEY!" ACA.
...If only we had more politicians like that.
Also,
You state this article is a "pretty well researched article". So well infact that they hide the information supporting it behind what looks to be a pay-wall (subscription). I usually don't mind looking further into what somebody claims, but there is a limit to my searching for information when it's the claimants position to do so -Which so far hasn't been supported. All we have so far is an excerpt of data that could be very easily shown out of context to push an agenda.
I'd really like to read the "published paper", do you have an actual working link to this information?
