I agree with you 100%! It still amazes me how so many people in this country are so loyal to their political party that they can't see (or admit to) any flaws or wrongdoing in the president if they are of that party, no matter what he or she does and how despicable that it is. The cult mentality of both parties is alarming. This is really bad where I live in Kentucky, especially among Donald Trump fans with their conspiracy theories about the 2020 election. I know a few Hillary Clinton fans around here who are pretty out there too though when it comes to conspiracy theories about both of her failed presidential runs. Grown people sure have overactive imaginations these days.
