As Alyssa Milano says the red MAGA hats are the new white sheets and those kids
should not have worn those hats on a field trip!
Yep, it is one thing to go on a field trip  but it is something else to wear something that one knows will cause trouble. They could have worn shirts or hats that just had the school  ame on them and not the hats they had.

The kids were bussed there to protest abortion rights. Seems a more appropriate things for catholic kids to protest these days would be sexual abuse by the Catholic Church.

Supposedly the family hired a PR firm. Im sure that PR firm has concocted this whole apology thing. PR firms these days mostly just do creative revisionism.

I will say I think the media puts a spin on everything.
Did anyone she the other trouble makers there? Or was everyone focused on just the kids?

True on  some of that but as someone who is married to a veteran and knows veterans many who have served during conflicts they don't make the claims of being a veteran of a war or conflict unless they were in it.

Kids don't always do the smart thing.
At that age they still have that bone in their head that prevents good discussion making.
I ask all of you to remember that age and what dumb things you did? Seriously .....

Yep and I can't say that some of adults would have stood there and not said a word back to him. He showed more maturity to not speak  than to speak.

Yes they did .... it was a group of black men (can't remember what they called themselves)
They were calling the kids names, even the black kids they called the Uncle Tom's
I think the whole thing was sad and I do agree that the teachers or adults there should have removed the kids from the conflict.
I heard they were waiting on a bus, but still.

Yes, I had heard that also but not many news reports show that part or has that changed now? I can tell that as someone who has chaperoned high school kids you give them some freedoms and arrange to meet them at a certain location. I think they should have worn something else instead of those hats if they wanted to be recognized as a group.

Personally, I like the hats. nothing wrong with making America great again BUT, I agree with you .... any smart adult should have seen that this would poke the political bear.  Kids shouldn't be used that way.

Off to work for me, I'm the mixer today. Tons different breads to make, I come home covered in flour, lol

Yep, it says a lot about the adults using the kids in that way.
Have a good day at work.

I am not a fan of the 2 year presidential election cycle, it should be contained in the same year as the election. I do not care about the next election yet, maybe this time a year from now. Still kinda weary from the two year 2016 cycle...

It does suck. It seems we never get a break from elections and all the negativity that goes in all offices.
