The new fancy washers are the worst, seems they all need a new board within a month or two__service people arrive quickly but the board takes some time __same goes for those high end LG multi door refers.
I have an old stack unit stored out in the garage that I paid around $500 for new 20 years back just in case.
Yep, My mother has a high dollar one that no one has been able to repair so far, but we can force it to work. I had a cheaper one and it died long before it should have. The one I had before that was second hand old school and we abused it for 12 years after we got it. If I had known, I would have rebuilt it instead of replacing.
The one I have now, I went looking for the most basic model I could find. So far so good but I doubt it will last trouble free for more than a few years.
