The derecho of 2012? My power was out for three days, the hottest of the year, to add. Funny thing was our power did not go out until two days after the storm ended....
Wow. I was out for some 2 weeks. I had not been watching or listening to news and had about a 1 min warning before it came ripping up my holler.
I had a Wisteria growing up a 4x4 post affair and it broke the post in half, blew over my privacy fence, as in blew it half the yard, my junk, and the neighbors' junk was scattered all around, trees down all over..... But the ice storm beat it for destruction.
