Seriously? Nixon covered up a burglary and destroyed subpoenaed evidence.
What he did pales in comparison to what Trump has done. At least Nixon admitted he did it, Trump would lie his way out of it.

I am not sure that we yet know the total extent of what trump has done but both Nixon and trump struck a blow at the heart of our democracy.

You certainly could make the argument that trump's lies, subversion of the GOP, blatant appeals to racism, attacks on the free press, etc,  not to mention the, at the least, cooperation with a foreign adversary's interference in a US election are far worse.
Exactly and at least Nixon was man enough to resign and man up for what he did, we know Trump won't.

What has Trump done? Mueller couldn't find any collusion or conspiracies.

Nixon never admitted he did it. He resigned avoiding impeachment.

Yes, and  Mr. Radcliff cleared up the false impression or confusion you alluded to.

I believe the question was hypothetical.
No he didn't, he continued to pursue his notes even after Mueller passed on an answer as did the little mutt from PA who bowed up to Mueller stating that he was a JAG who had been in over 100 military trials. Probably article 15's.

The Dem's lost the morning round but easily won the afternoon round__by a mile.

Key is that Mueller very clearly stated that the Russian's and perhaps others are continuing to attack the US via the internet while Trump continues to deny!

Repeatedly, in question and answer, that was addressed.  Are you not watching?
Great!

BTW I remember your terrific entries and links on the Columbus Ohio Topix thread.  Sad that you never joined us on the Obama thread.

Trump is denying collusion with Russia and that was the allegation. No one is doubting Russia tried to interfere with the election. A few Russians were indicted.

You're right. Mueller himself made that clarification.

Mainly, Trump has lied about everything. And shall we go with being a **** grabbing leech. Or how about how many times he has declared bankruptcy and you want that running the country?

"....Robert Mueller confirmed former White House counsel Don McGahn was pressured to lie by the White House about whether he was ever asked by Donald Trump to fire the former special counsel while testifying before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday.

"The president told the White House staff secretary, Rob Porter, to try to pressure [Don] McGahn to make a false denial. Is that correct?" Democrat Karen Bass asked Mr Mueller.

"That's correct,” he replied.

The former special counsel’s public testimony on Wednesday and 448-page report detailed numerous examples of alleged obstruction of justice on the part of the president. At one point, the report notes how Mr Trump told Mr Porter he would fire the former White House counsel if he refused to craft a statement claiming he was never directed to fire Mr Mueller. ..."

"...“Although Department policy barred you from indicting the President for this conduct, you made clear that he is not exonerated,” House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler said in his opening statement. “Any other person who acted this way would have been charged with a crime. And in this nation, not even the President is above the law."

Mr Mueller continued to make clear during his testimony on Wednesday that Mr Trump was not cleared of obstruction of justice, saying at one point, “The president was not exculpated for the acts that he allegedly committed.”

He also noted his team did not “address ‘collusion,’ which is not a legal term,” during his opening remarks. ..."

"...Former GOP lawmaker and current “Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough tweeted during former special counsel Robert Mueller’s Wednesday testimony and asked to be forgiven for his previous party affiliation.

"Jesus, forgive me for ever being a Republican,” the former four-term Florida congressman said..."

That is about where every republican should be about now.

Not illegal, not impeachable. Don't vote for him next election.

A lot of companies filed for bankruptcy in the 90s, including some airlines.

But, McGahn didn't do it.  As I said before, if I told you to rob a bank and you didn't, is it still a bank robbery?

Nothing illegal. There's a difference.

I'm more concerned about a judicial system going to hell than I an about Trump.

I didn't vote for him to begin with.
