I don't really drink whiskey except for straight, which I don't do terribly often.  I can drink them but I don't really like whiskey mixed drinks. 

I like crown apple shots or on the rocks with a splash of water.  I buy crown occasionally for that.

I've only had Stoli, which I don't think is actually made in Russia if it's sold in the West.

As long as it's not cheap sh1t rail vodka almost any vodka will be good.  Skky is fine.  I would never buy the cheapest but there is no need to buy the most expensive vodka unless you want to impress people, IMO.
