If your income reaches a certain level, 30 million and up,the grasping state of California will come for you for taxes for TEN YEARS!
That should attract more business! .LMAO! 😆😆

I knew this little Jewish boy back in the 80's.  He was about four feet tall and had glasses that were an inch thick.  It was really distracting trying to talk to him because of the way those glasses magnified his eyes and made him look like a fish.  Anyhow, he drove this souped-up Grand Am  that you could hear coming from a half mile away. he could barely see over the dash. We all laughed about it because we said he used that  car to compensate for what a twerp he was. Same thing here.

Lol, I had a friend like that without the glasses. He had a '66 GTO convertable. I remember heading for the shore in that car.

Frankly the Post Office just doesn't charge enough.
Compare the cost of a stamp in 1900 to today.

They could charge anything they wanted in 1900. No competition, no e-mail. Being government, no worries about overhead.

I wouldn't move to California if it was the last place in the US. I didn't care much for the Californians I knew in the past. Always putting on airs and such.

I think they're ruining Hawaii. And, Texas too.

The cost of a first class stamp has risen
53 cents in 120 years.
That's kind of below the inflation rate, yes?

Rich Californians are moving out of the state like rats abandoning a sinking ship. A lot of rich Californians aren't liberals.

I don't think inflation matters when the value of the service drops. People just don't use it that much anymore.

They deserve it.
California is the future of America. Not in a good way.

The Post Office should close on Saturdays to save money. No one gives a sht if they get mail on Saturday. Also, I read that companies like Amazon are exploiting the Postal Service to their own advantage. Maybe they should be charged more for having the USPS handle their freight.

I agree with closing saturdays. Who knows how much overtime is being paid for that. Lowering overhead costs.

Disagree. I use it constantly. So do others.

You could save even more money by delivering once a month.
 Impractical.

The Postal Service bought 579,000 tires last year, 750 million rubber bands.  It handles 48% of the world's mail and pays out 2 billion a week in payroll and benefits.

During FY 2019, USPS employees traveled 1.34 billion miles to deliver your mail, equivalent to 53,640 laps around Earth, 5,305 trips to the moon or about 15 trips to the sun.

They deliver to 160 million addresses daily. 20 million pieces of mail per HOUR.

There isn't an organization in all of human history that is capable of doing what the Postal Service does.
They are underrated.
