This seems to be one of those "iceberg" problems, what we see is just the tip and it runs all the way down to volunteer fire depts.
Find under "things you join."

As a former Rotarian and Chamber of Commerce person I understand exactly where  you're going with that.

When was contempt of congress committed?  The executive branch isn't obliged to the legislative branch.
(1) violations of campaign finance law; (2) bribery; (3) honest services fraud; (4) violations of the Hatch Act; and (5) contempt of Congress.”

If you'd bothered to read (and comprehend) the Mueller Report you wouldn't have to ask those silly questions.

PolitiFact Lie of the Year 2019: Trump’s claim whisteblower got Ukraine call wrong

Every year, PolitiFact editors review the year’s most flagrant inaccuracies in search of a significant false claim that can be elevated to Lie of the Year. This year’s most ridiculous claim stemmed from an infamous July phone call.

"...Russia’s State TV Calls Trump Their ‘Agent’..."
Russian state-run TV has aired Rudy Giuliani’s interview with a pro-Trump US news channel in which he promoted widely-debunked conspiracy theories to undermine the impeachment inquiry into the president.

Donald Trump’s personal lawyer appeared on the right-wing channel One America News (OAN) on Sunday to share what he claimed was evidence of interference by Ukraine in the 2016 election and corruption by Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

On Monday, segments from the interview were broadcast on Russia-1, a TV channel owned by the Russian government which has been accused of bias towards Vladimir Putin.

Fiona Hill, a senior National Security Council official, testified in November that the conspiracy theory that Ukraine, not Russia, interfered in the 2016 election was a “fictional narrative” spread by Russian security services.

Got it! But actually it was President George Bush who signed the Patriot Act as it was done in 2001 after the Terrorist Attacks of 9/11.
I do realize that and Obama had chances to dissolve it, instead we ultimately wound up with the USA Freedom Act with all the goodies of the original Patriot Act.

Thanks, Obama

Beautiful day today. A high of 81, low humidity, and not a cloud in the sky. I'll be back.
Beautiful day here too! 35 and sunny.
Not enough snow yet to run the sleds but we do have ground cover.

Think I'll just sit inside and wait for my wife to get back to decide what to do.  ;)

Obama had a slim chance during his first term, no chance at all during his second.

A slim chance is better than no chance and the "Freedom Act" was signed into law in 2015.

(shrug)?

If our founders would have only put in an Ethics Clause.
Trump wouldn't have even qualified as a contestant.

That's why I've always said use the 25th, normal grownups just don't act like that POS.

Sorry, thought we were discussing the Patriot Act/

Why after YEARS of blocking bipartisan FISA reforms are senior Republicans suddenly interested in it? There is no question that we need to improve transparency, accountability and oversight of the FISA process,” Wyden tweeted.

But the push for FISA court reforms could win over Republicans who usually aren’t supportive of reining in surveillance authorities. GOP senators this week tipped their hats to their libertarian-minded colleagues, who have pushed for reforms largely without success in the years since the 9/11 attacks.

So__blocked.

That has to be a lot of work sifting thru thousands of lies just this year alone (that is just what he said on TV or tweet)to come up with a winner. I would not want that job, too time consuming....

No kidding, it is bad enough just to hear all that BS once.   This has gone way beyond embarrassing, our country has become an international joke.
