I learned to swim at 32. A kid taught me, my gf's kid. Died of a drug overdose twenty five years later. All five of her kids are dead today. One was murdered. She was an evil human being,that gf. And California is a rough place.

I saw some Bald eagles flying around over by the river.  I think they like the bridge to Canada. It's like a cliff.  They probably eat fish and seagulls.

It's nice to see them bouncing back. There's also peregrine falcons living on some of the tall buildings in the cities.  It's hard to believe, but I swear it's true. When I was a little kid, those Canada Geese were endangered. We only had Mallards on Lake St. Clair.  Now geese are everywhere.  Rarely see a Mallard anymore.

Can't really say. When we built this house they charged us $1000 to run it from the road to the house. I don't know if a deposit was added to that or not.

My sister-in-laws husband is full-on religious right. I did a lot of work for them over the past couple years. I started a bathroom at their house and then told them to hire someone else. I just couldn't face listening to that bullsht all day every day for 6 weeks.  They were also dismissive of the Coronavirus "hoax" and that quack Dr. Fauci.   Every single person in that family has come down with Covid.

 He cornered me one day and explained to me in great detail about Q Anon, the Deep State and how Satan is using the liberals, homosexuals and blacks to subvert the USA because we are on God's side.   The insanity was breathtaking.
