That's because Texans are very important people. And the drug smuggling thing...

I think it's more the latter.
When in doubt, power out.

On the Shelby County Line (Memphis), the feds have unmarked cars that have software that scans every car and it generates a report on how many times cars go by. If there's a non commuter type pattern, they get pulled over. Oh, and they look for Texas tags. LOL

How far were you from where Buford Pusser was sheriff? I seen old AP article awhile back from Jackson, TN reporting about his wife's murder and his wounding back in the 1960s, guess that was the largest city near his county....

The indian is missing from Land O Lakes products.
That's just stupid.  When I was a little kid, the funny thing to do was to cut the Indian girl's knees off of one side of the box and glue them onto her chest on the other side so that when you lifted up the butter box she was holding, it looked like you could see her breasts.  Now American boys are going to be oblivious to that part of our culture.  Another unique and charming slice of Americana falls to the canceller's ax.

Clint parlayed his....unusual....looks into several creepy roles in low budget movies. I think he's worth about two million bucks.

2 million income is very low budget in that industry today, chicken scratch....

About 40 miles. I have a distant cousin who was all wrapped up in the state line mob back then. He did some jail time and straightened up. He's in his late 80s lives in North Alabama. He wrote a book about the whole deal. He told me that the only establishments that Pusser busted were the ones who weren't giving him a cut. He's a hero in the movies, but he's not a hero in McNairy County. Most people believe he killed his wife.
When in doubt, power out.

I had Texas tags too. NJ tags and insurance were just too expensive. I was stationed at Ft. Hood at the time.

I had no problem being in Ohio, NY, PA or FL and many other states with a NC plate. There were a few instances in states that require a front and rear license plate but that was minor..

I've been taking about half my plants outside for field trips during the day.  I'm sure they appreciate it. We all appreciate being able to go outside and get wet in the sunshine.  I got this whole rumply loose-fitting cotton thing going on; Ray-Bans, gummies.  It's nice. I feel very earthy.

For now, yes.....Good bye. I am going outside now to get some work done around the ranch.... I am surprised you are still here...You posted all night....
No, I wasn't on here all night. I don't sign out of my account but that doesn't mean I am on here posting. Try to look at time stamps and see when my last post was last night.. and we are an hour behind so it was about 10pm last night.. I have also been gone for a couple of hours now. It is your buddy Squills that is on here all night.
