Very, very, low in that case I think. Not much reason for any russians to have been there unless they were up to no-good, and while I do not know the attack vector, the target could have been, and likely was, engaged from Iraqi airspace.  This was about as much a consequence free target that could have been chosen.  About on par with someone driving past your mailbox at 3 am and whacking it with a baseball bat.
Every other year some poor schnook gets killed jacking with someone's mailbox!😀

Thousands are attending including some the craziest rightwing loons on the planet.  The nearby adult clubs are full up open to close, h**kers, both female and male have arrived from all over the country.

This guy:   The former political leader of a Japanese cult called Happy Science, Jay “Hiroaki” Aeba, is on the bill for Friday right after Donald Trump Jr.
Whoever heard of a Japanese fanatic? 😀

"Here, we present a timeline about the efforts to deploy National Guard troops. We’ll supplement this report as we learn more."

Nothing changed. The capitol police turned down the national guard offer and only the commander in chief can give the approval to activate them. The offer was made days before the incident.
Thing is that there's no proof that Trump made such and offer.  Thing is that if Trump had authorized the deployment prior to January 6 why was the NG still waiting for approval?

What seems to be happening here is buck passing down to the Capital police command__sorry, won't work.

I'm sure the odds against a mistaken nuclear exchange are relatively low.
The nukes insure negotiation...

Took a leaf blower and blew the dust out of my shop, only way to get rid of the flood dust.
I wore my mask that I use everyday and when I was done the inside of the mask was covered and
I had dust in my nose.

A general made the offer. Mills, I believe. He wouldn't be able to do that without prior approval.

Waiting for orders of deployment.

I agree, a lot of passing the buck. I thought not connecting the dots was fixed after 911. Apparently not. It seems the capitol police never got the intelligence and didn't think the national guard was needed.

General Mills. Ha! I probably got that name wrong. lol

That makes perfect sense. It comes with the territory...
