Way, way back when Topix first started the original posters got to know each other on Facebook also, so they knew each other's PI. LIM, Tally, Dondo were among the original posters. The whole original Offbeat group called themselves Paris. I was only on Topix the last few years it was in existence.

I started posting in late 2013. It was during Colorado's 1,000 year flood. I was literally trapped in my place for 3 days and cable was shut down. I had read an article about Topix and decided to check it out. I didn't start posting on Weird until 2015. I can tell you almost the exact date because Chilli J and I became fast friends. That was 10/01/15. Actually - that is the exact date!!!!

Old Topix was stupid. It would have been ok if it weren't for the trolls. It's too bad that no matter what site you are on, there is always going to be that small percentage of people that are such socially deformed failures  that they have to disrupt the discussion.   And it is like I said... most of them are single adult males who are sore at the world because A) they have been rejected by women over the course of their lives and B) they have zero sense of power on the plane of reality so they try to exert whatever influence they can muster by way of bothering total strangers.
