Not manly at all, no high heels, no spray tan, hair coloring, make-up, no jacket the size of a tent, no girdle, no yard long tie....
And I’m sure Biden won’t be kissing Rudy either. Lol

I love socialism.  I want to get money from the government forever.  They should give back to the people.
And why not? We all contributed to the system through taxes, so it’s a paid service.

I have been reading for years that the Earth is headed for a planetary collapse because our human activity. The  prime mover in this crisis is, of course, over-population.  There are many more times the number of humans than the carrying capacity of the Earth's ecosystem can accommodate. Eventually, there must therefore necessarily be a mass die-off of humankind, as well as (unfortunately), many of the species that we have exploited to the brink of extinction.

I guess the only good news is that when this cataclysm comes to pass, and it has already begun, North America will likely be the least impacted by the catastrophic collapse of the human population.  The polishing effect of evolution in that scenario cannot be overlooked.

It's pretty obvious that the day of reckoning is due to occur sooner rather than later. It is apparent that we have gone past the point of no return and our fate has been sealed.  Whatever scant feel-good measures that we are taking now are far too little far too late.    Take comfort in knowing that whatever correction the earth enforces upon us, it will be what is best in the long run.  I'm not losing sleep.

"Ninety-nine percent of the tall grass prairie in North America is gone, by one estimate; 96% of the biomass of mammals — biomass is their weight on Earth — now consists of humans, our pets and our farm animals; nearly 90% of the fish stocks the U.N. monitors are either fully exploited, over exploited or depleted; a multiyear study in Germany showed a 76% decline in insect biomass."

If we were more prudent and less self-centered as a species, we would take the lesson that is to be taught by the pandemic and the climate crisis.  But we will not.

After all, we believe that our invented 'God' created us in his image and gave us the Earth and all its inhabitants and resources to use as our own strip mine, slaughterhouse and garbage dump.

Absent the necessary insight and  willingness to learn and modify human society, we will be forcefully compelled by natural process to comply with planetary homeostasis and it will not be pleasant.   Famine, floods, desertification, plague, wildfire, increasingly violent storms, war, migration will be our task masters.

It is also fairly obvious to any of us that are not in denial that we have gone well past the point of no return and that these evolutionary mechanisms have already been triggered and are well commenced about the business of deburring the human population and fighting the infection we pose to the ecosystem.

In the end, we will emerge a much smaller, more efficient, respectful lot.  Our societies will be, by necessity, simpler, less polluting and destructive and perhaps more egalitarian.

In the scheme of geological history, humanity is a blip, a virus, a passing infection.

Most of the difficulty, both in the problems and the resistance to solutions, can be traced back to simple greed.

What Trump did to this country will be remembered by history as one of the most shameful events of modern times, possibly the lowest point in America's history since the inception of our nation.
He will take his rightful place among  tin-pot dictators like Pol Pot and the Kims of North Korea.

America may never be the same. We have lost power, influence and credibility. It is highly questionable if anyone on Earth recognizes America as being in a leadership position anymore.

I used to be a Republican... not that long ago.  Now, I am looking forward to the rise of Ocasio and her ideological peers.  We have tried and retried the old way and it has ultimately failed us and brought us to the edge of ruin.

We are on our way out of the limelight. Just as the Roman Empire imploded within and out, so show this nation do the same.

The super wealthy that have hijacked our government will be our downfall.

And we are only too gullible to notice.
