I've been walking in the woods almost daily when possible. I've cut way down on meat. Meat costs a fortune. The walking trail in the woods is very uneven and that makes it harder. I've learned to layer up when it's cold. I eat hot peppers DAILY,and more than a few. I also take C and vitamin D-3. I lift weights every couple days. Triceps are important. People neglect triceps. All I use is old fashioned iron weights.

That's great! I've gone 11 months without red meat or poultry. I do eat fish occasionally. A veggie burger or black bean burger are great alternatives. I'm probably 90% vegan. I'll eat cheese every so often - I had onion soup last night - have to have a layer of gruyere on top!

NPR said that it was unfortunate that Boston elected a mayor of the wrong color.
 (She's Asian).

I like NPR but they got that one wrong. It happens.

I just eat one meal a day ... so I eat whatever but low carb and I try to get carbs from veggies.  I made stuffed ground beef and barley and parmesan cheese in sweet peppers baked in tomato basil soup yesterday and had that over cauliflower rice.

Since I don't like to eat very often, if I don't have a few beers or some wine most nights and get 700-800 calories from that minimum I lose weight ridiculously fast.  I prefer eating just for dinner.  Eating too often makes me lose focus and feel sleepy and lethargic afterwards.  It also doesn't bother me just eating dinner ... I don't get hungry during the day.

I'm just feeling too mellow today! Happy but mellow. It's Thanksgiving break - no students on campus.

That guy that ran over the  Christian crowd had a lengthy record, but today he killed five people and some little kids are in critical care.
I believe he's a Black gentleman. He ran over someone a month ago with the same car but they cut him loose on a thousand dollar bond.
Hell. My bond on no insurance tickets was more than that.

Maybe that's my problem - I've been eating 2 meals a day. Breakfast and dinner....shouldn't have had Panera for lunch. I could go to sleep!

NPR is too analytical for right wingers to understand, no cheerleading nor platitudes and catchphrases, just follow the issues. Fox feels threatened by that network, why I dunno. Republicans has been on it and still do appear...

I am about like that, even after a 200 mile round trip in less than five hours...

That whole site is current, some info on there is older.
Not what you posted. You posted an article from a year ago which would not even be current.

Wait, Wait..Don't Tell Me is great! I listened to a little transistor radio that my Uncle gave me when I was a kid. I remember when RFK was shot - we were out of school and I was heard about it in the morning while I was still in bed. I was 9 years old. Crazy memory.

I am slacking here at work. Not good. I haven't really been on much lately. I'll get on and read and decide the conversation isn't something I want to jump into.

I have coffee with organic half and half.  I use whole earth erythritol and monk fruit from Costco for sugar.  Caffeine keeps me alert and I get a little bit of calories from the half and half but not much ... it's low in carbs too.  There are a lot of benefits to drinking coffee too.  More studies are showing drink more is better for you.

I can't speak as to Fox's feelings regarding NPR. NPR simply got that story about the new Boston mayor as wrong as wrong can be.
NPR is this instance at least, was racist.
I'm one of the lucky ones though,I understand every fancy word they use on NPR.
  I'M blessed that way.
