I have a newspapers.com subscription. I always see train/vehicle accidents and people walking getting hit by trains back in the day. How on earth does that happen?? Trains go slow. I'd be willing to bet that the majority are suicides.
I walk a pretty good stretch of rail when I walk to town or to the lake. There is a significant portion of it that has water on either side. If a train ever comes while I am on the tracks I am going for a swim.
