Jeremiah Johnson is a great movie.  There's also lots of subtle humor that's easy to overlook.

Robert Redford played in another movie that is pretty good called The Old Man and the Gun. You should see it.
Clint Eastwood is good in Gran Torino and The Mule.

I think both are good actors, however, Eastwood plays better in spaghetti westerns while Redford can play a multitude of characters without a sweat.
