1 Koch kicks the bucket, it can't but help.
« on: August 23, 2019, 05:16:53 pm »
"..Billionaire industrialist David Koch, who spent vast sums of his billions in personal fortune promoting climate denialism and other right wing causes over the last four decades, died Friday at 79.

His legacy in modern American politics was summed up by The New York Times:

Three decades after David Koch's public steps into politics, analysts say, the Koch brothers' money-fueled brand of libertarianism helped give rise to the Tea Party movement and strengthened the far-right wing of a resurgent Republican Party.

Koch was a controversial figure. His vast fortune—made in large part through fossil fuel extraction and manufacturing, though the company has interests in nearly everything—made him and his brother Charles two of the richest people in the world. The brothers spent at least $100 million since the 1970s promoting right-wing causes, and David ran for vice president as a member of the Libertarian Party in 1980. ..."

The Kock Bros are like Trump, they inherited their wealth thru their daddy, who created Koch industries and the right wing propaganda outfit they ran and later called it teabagging and their fortunes quadrupled thru tax cuts by last two GOP presidents, the two two dumbest ones in history..

Neither Kock will be missed when they both croak, not by any with common sense...

They are the reason we got Trump today, you brainwash stupid and hateful/bigoted people, you will get a stupid hateful bigot in control. The Kocks hated Trump but they are the reason he is there. Their creation was a massive failure for the country...

The Kocks and Twitler did have something in common, they hired illegals while denouncing them...

Them and the whole elite of the right wing movement, and the republicans who glommed on to it for votes.

Some have heard me say it before,, it is the fable about riding the tiger. Fun for a while but how do you get off without being eaten?
I don't think that a "trump" was the goal but like a riot, once it got a head of steam bad things were bound to happen. --this is the lesson they forgot, they deluded themselves into thinking they could control it and now have no good choice but to keep on riding the tiger right over the cliff.

And they have,, I was completely surprised that republicans supported trump. I don't care for many of their policies but I did not think they were stupid. I was wrong about that.  Look how quickly and easily they bent right over for him. Thank goodness he is a mentally ill nut and not an evil genius, republicans and millions of their voters would have happily marched the country straight to hell.

This went way past politics some time ago, it is now a good vs evil fight for the soul of the USA and it may yet be decided by "the gun".

One of the reasons

In 1987, on his first trip to Russia, Trump visited the Winter Palace with Ivana. The Soviets flew him to Moscow—all expenses paid—to discuss building a luxury hotel across from the Kremlin.Maxim Blokhin/TASS

Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, which Russian mobsters routinely used to launder huge sums of money. In 2015, the Taj Mahal was fined $10 million—the highest penalty ever levied by the feds against a casino—and admitted to having “willfully violated” anti-money-laundering regulations for years.

Since Trump’s election as president, his ties to Russia have become the focus of intense scrutiny, most of which has centered on whether his inner circle colluded with Russia to subvert the U.S. election. A growing chorus in Congress is also asking pointed questions about how the president built his business empire. Rep. Adam Schiff, the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, has called for a deeper inquiry into “Russian investment in Trump’s businesses and properties.”

Comrade trump will not sellout the USA for any ideology, rather simply because he thought he could make some money doing it.

He wants anarchy, that is his goal, he turned the political system into a joke and is intentionally taking down the GOP and humiliate them, he is not hurting the Democratic Party.

Or  he is acting on the behalf of another nation with the goal of crippling the US political system. Note that no president in US history could get away with the remarks he makes, neither will his successor, regardless of party.

Anarchy is Trump's goal, Trump is going to jail no matter what sometime after 1/21/21, without outside influences, doubt he gets re-elected on an even playing field, anarchy is what he is using to accomplish that...

Putin wants anarchy, or as close to it as he can get. Comrade trump is just a mentally ill fool who can't think past the end of his nose, he will do or say anything that he feels might help him in the moment. And 30 seconds later, do or say just the opposite if he feels that might help him in the moment.

True, he has no clue with what he is doing nor is he is deep thinker. He also misspells words worse than sQueels does, he is a man who inherited his wealthy lifestyle with a trailer trash mentality like sQueels and both are insane conspiracy addicts...

30% of the voting population are into reality shows over reality itself and all were behind Twitler in '16.

Also note that the GOP under Twitz are abandoning him, in the House itself there is a 38% turnover and is expected to rise into 2020. While there are claims that 90% of republicans are behind the Twitz, that number has went, roughly saying, 100,000 Republicans to about 60,000 (not exact number but it is about 40% drop from 2016)thus the high percentage of Trump approval, it was about 65% beforehand, mostly in states like WV and other rural character states. He cannot win 2020 on just his dwindling party numbers

He is going for an insanity plea to avoid prison, a pardon by the next GOP president does not prevent state charges from occuring, like in NY, his home state...

I think Twitz is up zhit creek despite what his fanbase believes....

That may well be true. Recall that when trump was growing up one of the top Mafia bosses often wandered on the street in a bathrobe for the same reason.

Also, I dunno if he will take a pardon because in order to be pardoned he must accept blame for his actions and must say so and be in writing like Dick Nixon done and cannot backtrack. There is no evidence he will take such responsibility, only if itis good things but most good things done were done by someone else, like Obama as it was his admin that jumpstarted the economy and Twitz inherited that, like he inherited everything in his life..

I feel he will give his successor a disaster and will take that person's entire term to clean it up, then another jackazz gets elected and tears it down again...

Hard to say, Obama tidied up the horror story Bush II left behind in less than three years and gave the nation 5 or so years of  peaceful sleep. Unless Trump figures out a way to put us into a big time war the next POTUS should have some smooth sailing while putting law, order, and of course sensible regulations back in place.

The reason I say that is because the current GOP basically dies with Trump and will have to be reinvented and restored to civility which could take years.

^^ He rejects reality and substitutes his own fantasy.

I can understand having a different opinion about something but you have to ground that opinion in fact or it is useless and makes you look stupid.
Maybe try to be a bit more Buckley jr and a lot less rush limbaugh.
