My first love was Pauline. We met when I was in Kindergarten. She was in the 3rd grade. I knew she was an older woman, but I could not resist her. She was beautiful and was Italian. She was a little thing so our age difference didn't bother me. We would meet up each recess to play checkers. When I entered the 1st grade I lost track of Pauline and we both moved on. I never noticed her again.... but to this very day I always think of Pauline whenever I drive by her house... I wonder whatever happened to Pauline & hope she is well.
