50s today and tomorrow, then around 40 until Saturday in 30s.
Major cooldown next week highs in 20s, lows teens maybe low teens.

Sunny now. Going to try to walk while weather good.
They're not so far giving any big snows though.

We have a dusting of snow and black ice. Schools are closed. I am sure some will complain about that but if a bus slide off the road with kids aboard, those same people would bitch and gripe. Safety of staff and kids are more important than getting to school.

Depends on where you live,  Louisville got about 9 inches of snow on top of ice. Other parts just got ice. We had close to 2500-3000 people lose power and it is now down to 100. It had been 400 people without.

Can't prepare for power outages, not many ways to do that.

For some of it, yes but there is no way to prepare ice breaking power lines.

Plenty of ways to get it done my opinion. 8 inches of snow packed with ice there after. Boots are having a field day. Prepared for it in advance.

Whipped it, that’s what happened. Couldn’t be more comfortable, can do land.
