A troll once told me it and others were filling a claim against me, I’m still waiting to be served. 🤪

Anyone could see the old Topix was on the verge of collapse. The sad part is that many went out well before that site went into the dustbin of history. I agree with the clever names, but I for one am glad it’s gone.

Topix was being run to the ground over lawsuits from Kentucky and from no revenue from commercials; and many of those commercials has redirects and some nasty viruses, so it was time for Topix to go.

They couldn’t keep the revenue coming in fast enough while at the same time people were putting up safeguards on their phones and computers to keep themselves from coming under attack, as I was one of them.

Well, he couldn’t do much about curbing the nastiness on the forum, and in particular, “The Human Sexuality” part of the forum that had a lot of god awful creeps on there and there’s where his troubles began and pretty much ended the forum. It got completely out of Tolles hands and then collapsed as the forum was slowly drowning out forever.

Many who he bared from the forum who come back under another assumed name, or through other means. He couldn’t stop them all from coming back, so I understand your side of it, but likewise, I understand Chris’ side it the same coin. This has happened on many forums. It’s just that those on that particular forum “Topix” had driven away many of the good people to then be left with the scrapings of the bottom of a barrel.

They ran off many good people to have only trolls and the creepy left. It’s no wonder it fell.

I don’t know the man personally to give that judgment. He’s had an overall successful career at business and made one of the largest public forums in the business. So I can’t say he’s a total loser, but I will say this...

...he was allowing criminals to blackmail people into giving up 25 dollars just so their private information didn’t get put up on the forum. That’s a crime that he couldn’t spin his way out of. Least that’s what I’ve heard when I got there: and it took the government to step in and put a stop to that nonsense, as it shouldn’t of ever happened in the first place.

I’m only glad it did exist because I found the most beautiful woman in all the world...and I have Chris and the Elder Topix to thank for that.

Plus, I got to make some good friends from there that I’m still in touch with here. That’s the best part about the Elder Topix.

Although, I have lost touch with a few. Perhaps one day I’ll see them again.

Yep, I think some of the lawsuits were over harassment and even to the point that someone was making false claims over a murder in Kentucky claiming the spouse did it when that wasn't true. They made life a living hell for that person.
