But it’ll look really nice and you’ll be proud of your handy work once completed. Will it be dark or a tanned finish?

It’s going to be a light finish. We started off thinking it would be darker, but saw some lighter finished material and went with that.

you guys remodeling and buying new things makes me want to change my kitchen...but save my rooster stuff...

We replaced the microwave a few months ago. It’s black and stainless. The black matches the stove and the stainless matches the fridge.

Those floors are causing a lot of stress at home. Because we are doing 3 rooms at once, there’s no place to put everything. In retrospect, I wish we would have opted to do two rooms and then when those were finished, do the third. We are doing all the demo (removing the carpet and trim) but having someone do the actual installation. I’m too old to be crawling around on the floor....LOL.

Nice! Glad it’ll be a light finish cause it’ll look a hundred times better.

Same, would love to change this entire house. However it is on temp for however long we live in UK, so i am just going to let it be. Although, i totally hate it.

I have not, but if I had to take a guess, I’d say it has more to do with her mistrust over places like this than it does her health. A friend of hers got burned very badly by someone who ran a private forum just like this one and had her personal information spewed out all over Topix. You can thank Cookie Parker for that.

I do not think that is too far off in regards to her, she mentioned to me something personal in a PM, not meant for others on the forum. Kookoo's feud with GS started after inviting her to  her private forum and become enemies afterwards, seems like she tracked her IP or something..
