We are a balance of both to our children. However, they know that we,as providers and protectors, this gives us the final say on everything. Not to say we do not allow them to make decisions, even bad ones, we do, for even a bad choice comes with a lesson learned. But if one of them were to be heading into serious danger or being blatantly disrespectful, we have no problem bringing the hammer down.
Just as it should be. Cause you don’t reward them for bad behavior: and that’s exactly what the woman I was talking about does.
She’s always rewarding them for bad behavior and then wonders why they come out still spoiled and bad children when she herself taught them to be as such.
