Kind of like that when I moved to Texas 10 years ago this past February. It was 12 degrees above zero when I left Michigan that morning. My wife and I took our time getting here and just enjoyed the sights along the way. 3 days later when I got to Texas, it was 74 degrees and I told her that I saw no reason to ever go back to Michigan. Definitely prefer the warm weather over the cold and truth be told, the heat here doesn’t bother me all that much.
I definitely could live where it is warm almost year round. I hate cold weather with a passion.
