I’m never impressed by con artists within any city, county or state government giving handouts to greedy people at the pulpit, as all therein are picking the pockets of those whom visit such establishments that are not even within the law of our constitution.

Some things like this I hold contempt for.
I completely understand your concerns over the Ark exhibition and the endorsement via tax dollars. However, the endorsement was not given because of the religious affiliation but rather as an attempt to enhance tourism within our state. Hence, the reason for the location being in close proximity to Cincinnati. Like it or not, Kentucky is part of what's considered the "Bible Belt" and the presumption could be made that activities and exhibits relating to the Bible might render a larger audience. In addition, the existence of the Ark has been proven by archeologists although the biblical knowledge might still be questioned.

But, let me further state that I don't begrudge you your opinion. Just offering an explanation.

I never thought of it like that. But very true that Kentucky is part of the Bible Belt.

oh gosh I could not learn...I am way too scared...

It's so much fun and one of the best forms of exercise.  Also could save your life some day.

I swam about everyday of my pregnancy.  Once Louis is vaccinated i plan to take him and learn him to swim before he develops a fear of.

You would probably need a professional instructor to teach you. One who is experienced with persons who have fear of the water.

Of all the photo shoots i have done, the water and underwater shoots were my faves.

I made sure both kids know how to swim. I felt it was very important.

Oh hush, Pete. It's not as if we actually have any control over how our tax dollars are spent. Do you really think they'll have dinosaurs? My version of the good book mentions 2 of each animal, Noah and his family. I've never read anything about T-Rex, Triceratops, or any inhabitants of Jurassic Park.

I guess y'all will teach me about asking a simple question. I feel the sting and I'm just gonna go right over here -------> sit in the corner and sulk. I was actually hoping we could all go together and make a field trip out of the adventure.

What can I say? All this dang rain made me think of an ark.

So, has anyone ever been to the Paul Patton Museum?

Oops.....Sorry, didn't mean to ask another simple question.

No, ma'am, I've never been to that Museum. I would like to visit the American museum of natural history someday.

That's cool. I'm not a fan of Jim Helton but I don't dislike those that are. I feel the greatest gift we have is the ability to to be different, to think different, to believe different, and still respectfully exist in spite of our differences. I can't imagine a worse existence than one where we were all identical.
