Good morning all. Had a bout of insomnia last night so coffee is my friend at the moment. Got a summer project started and am excited about it. Our neighbor's daughter gave us a hutch. I spent yesterday stripping the contact paper off of it and going to see about refinishing it. I may just wash it off and repaint it. It is blue like a Robin's egg so I may go a little darker this time.

That is because more than likely your school didn't have a fall break like they do now.  We always started the last week of August when I was in school but didn't have a fall break and got out before Memorial Day. I am not a proponent of fall break because to me it gives the kids the adage that you work 9 weeks and get a break. In the real world, you don't get a break every 9 weeks.
