Yes but now it is mostly carbon dioxide due to more efficient combustion processes over the years. And for the most part it hugs the ground and does far less damage.... unlike what gets passed by jets high in the stratosphere. That is the part that you obviously don't understand, I see.
Transformers are also responsible for the production of smog because they create ozone, but that does nothing to help us on the ground. Meanwhile, we have hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide that will get high in our atmosphere due to wind and the jet streams, so it’s up there and had been detected by NASA and other organizations and businesses.
So much for your understanding, eh? 🤣
