People arn't expected to change what they believe in, just keep an open mind to other peoples beliefs. It's ok to agree to disagree.
Wise words Jackie! Unfortunately some take things personal, or become judgmental. I just want to relax, and not call people a bunch of idiots 😁

I specifically point out using facts and logic why people are idiots without calling them that.  The words and expressions supposed grown adults come up with for Trump and conservatives are so childish.  I can respect one not liking him (and I don't care for it when he name calls either ... although Pocahontas is pretty funny given that Warren faked being Native American for decades) but making up juvenile names just makes people look so childish ... today alone I've seen grown adults use the expression Trumptard ... orange disaster ... republitrash.  I'm embarrassed for them.  What on earth would convince a person that making up a juvenile term is compelling logic or is even relevant?  It just makes them look like toddlers.  It's like calling someone a big dummy head and thinking you are so smart for it.

I agree people calling President Trump names, just makes them look like a child.

No I've only used NC Yankee on yahoo, but for many years.  I think shortly after I moved to NC, which was 10 years ago.  Never on topix.  .

Nice to see you here too.  I remember you from topix too.  :)

Yeah ... I posted all the time on the music thread on the weird forum.  The one that Rick posted a lot on.  I always liked him.

I listen to a lot of music.  I listen to music at home probably more than I watch tv.

All my self reported sins I posted about eons ago as sublime went poof when topix went off line.  It's like I was born again, lol.  People would sometimes dig up ancient posts of mine.  I am not ashamed of anything and have no regrets about anything i might have done, but people assume you are that same person and like to dig up your past, just cause they don't approve.  So it's good that the paper trail is poof to some extent.

That's in part why I figured I'd use a name other than sublime.  A clean slate, so to speak.
