I have read that he has somewhat changed his tune, a bit:

However, he continues to demand hard physical proof, famously challenging the government to show the alien instead of releasing ambiguous documents."

Solstice just needs to tell him that it's as stupid as arguing with people over whether leprechauns exist.

You can look at all the whistle blower stuff, whatever videos have been released.  What is most important to me is that it's been going on for 80 years and apparently as far back in '48 we had been exposed enough to it that a major general and government felt confident that they could predict when they would reappear.  It's something ... it's not just nothing.  Doesn't mean it's aliens, but if it's not us, then who could it be?
