Donald Trump’s pathetic Obama/Biden Derangement Syndrome continued this morning as this president keeps trying to cope with what appears to be another huge failure: his Great American State Fair, which he couldn’t get anyone to perform at and has, by most accounts, been sparsely attended — even allegedly leading to events being “postponed” “due to severe weather” that many have claimed didn’t actually exist.
Yet now Trump claims Obama or Biden never could have pulled off the event with the “packed crowds” and “everyone loving it.”
He’s right — neither of those men would have tried to hijack our nation’s birthday to make an event largely about themselves.
It’s also true that neither would have posted multiple times online lying about the size of the crowds because they were weak, pathetic, insecure losers who obsess over that sort of nonsense.
They’re grown, mature adults — not two men with the maturity of a petulant child and the emotional stability of a toddler.
Only trashy Trump cares about that sort or crap.
And, as per usual, the more Trump tries to lie about something — such as the size of the crowds in attendance — the more the opposite is actually true.
So, if he’s repeatedly claiming how “huge” the crowds are despite all the photos out there showing the opposite, you know it’s really bothering him that his self-serving spectacle has been a massive bust and embarrassment for him.
It really is sad how much of Trump’s life is consumed by his obsession with Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

 Supreme Court rejects Trump effort to overturn E. Jean Carroll sexual abuse and defamation verdict
The court left in place the jury's finding that Trump sexually abused Carroll in the 1990s and later defamed her after she went public with her claims.

The justices turned away Trump's appeal in the case, meaning that the 2023 jury verdict and a $5 million civil judgment remain in place.

Carroll filed a separate defamation claim against Trump not at issue at the Supreme Court that led to a $83.3 million judgment. That case, concerning statements Trump made while serving his first term in office, is still on appeal. Trump argues that the claims should be dismissed on the basis of presidential immunity.

Every answer has a cost or downside.  There is no perfect answer.

If you want to make everyone fend for themselves, the problem is not everyone makes even $20 an hour.  Minimum wage is $7.25.  You'd need to drastically raise it.  Not everybody is a dr or lawyer or even goes to college.  Many of these people have so little leverage when it comes to take home pay.  There are so many out there, that employers just use the fact that they are so replaceable to make them compete for the lowest wage.  If you don't like your sh1tty unlivable wage, some other schmuck will.  Employers know that.  That's how it works.

You can also say, work harder and be a go getter even if you are at such a job, the reality is that there are all sorts of people.  Like it or hate it, not everyone is a go getter.  Not everyone was even born intelligent or without health problems or disabilities.  Some folks have drug and alcohol problems.  It's not a perfect world and designing it for people who are over achievers leaves a lot of people out.  To just say eff it, it's all their fault, they should have made better choices, it's just not realistic.  You still have to address the consequences, the best you can and try to help people.
