"...New Drug Kills Cancer 20,000x More Effectively With No Detectable Side Effects

Northwestern University scientists have reimagined a classic chemotherapy drug using nanotechnology, dramatically improving its potency and safety. By redesigning the drug as a spherical nucleic acid that binds to DNA, the team transformed a weak, poorly soluble compound into a precision cancer therapy that effectively targets leukemia cells while leaving healthy tissue unharmed. By restructuring a common chemotherapy drug, scientists increased its potency by 20,000 times.
In a significant step forward for cancer therapy, researchers at Northwestern University have redesigned the molecular structure of a well-known chemotherapy drug, greatly increasing its solubility, effectiveness, and safety..."

I would disagree overeating is not caused by ignorance... Everybody knows if you overeat you will gain weight... But the degree of hunger people experience varies from person to person... There are physical reasons for that... As far as ignorance goes my party has made a mistake when it comes to transgenders... A transgender man will always have an advantage over a woman in sports... If Michael Jordan had changed his sex to a woman... Entering the WNBA... He would have scored 970 points a game..
If it is not caused by ignorance, obesity is most certainly by lack of self discipline and a failure to provide one's own health care...and that is irresponsible to one's self

Because they know that the targets for the lie will never bother to fact check.

"...Tricia McLaughlin lies shamelessly: "Why President Trump called the National Guard into Portland is because our officers were facing mass assault and mass attacks."..."

Trying to side step a judge again.  If you did that, the marshals would be at your door to cart you away within the hour.

NBC had $4.6 billion figure
This from CBS lists $5.2 billion and says will fully use all funds do have.
Roughly $9  billion being needed amount for full benefits.

One judge had said administration should use contingency AND find additional funding to cover full benefits but in no case could partial benefits be issued later than Wednesday

Trump administration will use SNAP contingency fund to pay partial food stamp benefits
Justice Department lawyers separately told the court that the administration will "fulfill its obligation to expend the full amount of SNAP contingency funds" by providing states with information on Monday that they can use to calculate benefits due to each eligible household.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture told a federal court that it will tap into a contingency fund to allow states to issue partial SNAP benefits.

The one thing you're going to have to have that we've seen none of yet to end shutdown is

Trump to be personally involved.
I watched a top Democrat in on discussions between parties. He's been in room on compromises every time been record crisis like shutdowns.

Asked is there a compromise out there? He thinks yes.
Neither side will be completely happy about it nor get all they demanded but that's compromise

BUT
The Republicans won't commit to anything because they know they have to have Trump's sign off to do anything.

I looked at my letter on ACA health care plan.

Total premium of plan went up 42% in one year from $1,204 to $1,712 not pocket change there folks.
My cost went up 180%
I may try to look for alternate plans on exchange to be cheaper.
Not sure how well that will go.
Of course less coverage, higher deductible and/or more out of pocket costs
Can any compromise on ACA change rates already set?
They could raise amount of subsidies somewhere between original subsidies and expanded subsidies?
Not sure how all could go but before the limit was 8.5% of your total income towards health care premiums. Mine for 2026 on this plan is almost 15%.
Would wording of new legislation be dollar income limit or percentage of income limit.
Then would new rates be recalculated. Not holding breath on that.
They were set based on what was lost and of course costs go up every year but not 42%
