Unable to use Messenger on Facebook which used everyday.
I rarely post anything. I may send Birthday greeting.

So I contact Meta virtual whatever assistant. Look I don't have a mobile device. I have flip phone without internet. I only use PC. And it says need to upload government ID(I have no way to upload anything, I just have keyboard and mouse.
So I go into account. Says looks good, no restrictions on account, thanks for following rules make Facebook safe for everybody. Okay so I go to messages and get same message must upload messenger from your mobile device.
I logged out and back in. No help
I changed password. No help.
I've had account for like 18 years. I guess not going to be able to use it to messages friends, relatives
The AI assistant is useless, if your issue does not fit into it's box you might as well try chatting with a box turtle.
Meta is desperately addicted to ID, bad as a police officer. I don't trust it any farther than I could throw a pickup truck, they will never be getting my ID.
