With the peace deal on shaky ground, Steve Witkoff, the U.S. envoy to the Middle East, and Jared Kushner, the president's son-in-law, have been in Switzerland for sensitive talks with the Iranians and intermediaries. Vance, who canceled a planned trip there Friday, said he still expects to leave in the next couple of days.
"They want to do a delicate dance," Vance said. "The Qataris and the Pakistanis want to make sure we do this the right way."
