  Whether one agrees with abortion or not that was a huge overreach by Texas... Like the UK threatening to arrest British citizens returning from America if they post something they consider prohibited speech online in America...

FEDERAL MARSHALS... THE FEDERAL MARSHALS IN HOUSTON HANDCUFFED AN HPD COP WHO TRIED TO TOW MY POSTAL VEHICLE.... In my defense I was parked in the only place I could to deliver that mail... And I told that cop that was a federal vehicle and he could not tow it... Believe it or not this occurred pretty damn close to the building downtown where the Federal Marshals were at that time.... The Federal Marshal told that cop he knew damn well that he was getting a cut of every car that was towed.... Long story short that vehicle did not get towed...

Federal Marshals sometimes overlap with the Postal Police. The Postal Police to me were basically gate guards. Federal Marshals were the real deal.

The Postal Inspection Service would do things like investigate employees for theft. Which unfortunately happened a lot. Sometimes they would drop valuable items  in postal drop  boxes to see if the post office employee who picked it up would steal it. Found a brand new Smith & Wesson 44 Magnum in a post office drop box on Mangum Road once.  I closed the box with it still in there along with the mail and immediately called the Postal Inspectors.
