Pittsburgh is named after William Pitt, a former prime minister of England who had Scottish roots. When Pittsburgh was named, it was to pay respect to both Pitt and his Scottish heritage. In Scotland, most towns are pronounced "borough" but spelled "burgh" -- which is how Pittsburgh became Pittsburgh.

The Chevelle was built in 10 different plants in two countries during its 10 year run. Surprisingly, the Chevelle shared a platform with both the Monte Carlo and the El Camino. There was a version of the Chevelle only available in Canada that had a slightly different grille and trim. It was called the Acadian Beaumont.

Ultimately, after struggling to retain its 13 feisty colonies, British leaders chose to abandon the battlefields of North America and turn their attention to their other colonial outposts, like India. In a global context, the American Revolution was largely a war about trade and economic influence—not ideology
