The next day after ^^ that I hit the wall. I only slept 5.5 hours that night before. I ran 10 minutes at a 7:54 mile pace and was dragging. After 10 minutes I switched to a an 8:34 mile pace and could only run for 30 minutes ... after that I walked 5 min ... ran 10 ... walked 5 ... ran 10 ... for 50 min total, but I totally regressed time wise. After the initial 30 minutes I couldn't even run at my usual pace and ran at 9:14 mile pace.Next day my tibialis anterior on my left leg just felt so tired and tight. So I figured I better shut down for awhile. I didn't feel better until Sunday. So today I started back up and ran 7 miles in 60 min. My tibialis anterior on both legs felt so effin tight and I thought I was going to have to quit at 20 minutes but I know sometimes if I push through it will loosen up and it loosened up and I made it 60 minutes.I need to slow my roll or I'm not gonna even be able to run my race. Tomorrow I will just do a 5k but try to do a 7:30 mile pace and then I need to resist the urge to keep going. I think I maybe should take the day off and run every other day, but we'll see how it goes. I have less than 2 weeks and last week was a complete waste. <sigh>I'm kind of stuck cause I need to get used to running distance. I have to do 13.1 miles.
