I know. I had never seen one in person before but I remember reading about them and seeing them picture of them. I thought it was one of them and I killed it immediately. Then I looked up kissing bug just to be sure and sure enough it was one.
That preying mantis owes me big time and should have eaten it before it got on my back deck. That thing is slacking on the job, lol.
There's all kinds of bugs and tics out there, I can't keep up. I just hope i don't get bit by one.
With all our imported goods coming here from over seas to the states, its no wonder we have freaky bugs here.
