Happy New Year!

I'm not cooking today.  I cooked thanksgiving (Turkey) and christmas (ham). My boys help a lot  but it's still a lot of work.  I stuff the bird too. I would have helped out more when I was married if I had known how much work it is.

One thing making my life easier is roomba i7+ with the home base that self empties the roomba dust bin. 5 stars. It's like a fully autonomous vacuum.

I bought that for myself for christmas (with 3 labradoodles I need to vacuum everyday just to keep down dust ... I just groomed my 3 doodles today ... they look so nice and better than when I take them to the groomers) ...

Amazon had the roomba for 3 hondo off.  So I pulled the trigger.  My kids got me a spice rack and some Tupperware for Christmas.  I was thrilled.  I needed some new Tupperware and I don't like my spice cabinet ... it's not big enough (I have a lot of spices) ... So the rack is useful.

Look at me ... I'm becoming holly homemaker, lol.

My turkey on thanksgiving was over 20 pounds (I make a soup with the left overs) and I don't know what the hell happened or how I did it, but even my brother said it was the best turkey he has ever had and he is a total foodie  The white meat was super moist and it just turned out great.  It's my second turkey I have ever made.  Even next day the white meat was still juicy.

Sounds like you had a lovely Christmas.
Turkey is not for me, as I am vegetarian, but had a tasty Quorn substitute instead.
I had a spice rack on my Christmas list, but nobody brought me one. I have started to use a lot of herbs and spices now and it makes such a difference to the meals.
Ohhhhhhh... 3 doggies you have ; )
I have just the one, and she makes a lot of mess, that's for sure.
Happy New Year 🎊🎉❤

Thanks!  You too.  Did you have a nice Christmas?  Mine was pretty nice and peaceful, which I like.

The spice rack is from Costco and it comes with free spice refills for 5 years.  It's on a lazy Susan and spins around.

My doodles don't shed as much as other dogs, cause their hair just keeps growing like a human, but they need a hair cut every 3 or 4 months.  I usually take them to the groomer but it's like $250 for all 3 of them and I don't like how they cut them sometimes.  I took them to get groomed up by my moms this summer and 2 of them came back looking like giant naked mole rats.  My kids were kind of mad, lol.  They had been to groomers 4 months earlier so there was no need to do that to them. Their fur was much longer when I just did them and I didn't have to do that to them.

I have actually gotten pretty good at doing it and can do it myself if I have help.  They all 3 look adorable. My kids helped me.
