My sister is going there and I told her she should visit.  Perhaps the church in the town or village we are from has records.

My German great-grandpa went back to his parents ancestral town in Bavaria and the Catholic Church had records going back centuries.  He was in a German choir and they toured Germany one summer and performed concerts. 

Some of my earliest memories were going to the German picnic and they would all sing and it was all German families and their descendants.  I am half German.

Because it is a **** who talks about it ad nauseum.  It was told on old topix that we all knew who to report to on cases like that and it would continue harping about it to the point that it was sickening.
