Well .... the ones who spoke cannot get any money.
But I have a funny twist of mind. ..... why bring this back up now?

IMO, once you die, that's it, game over.
Why open up to the public and tarnish him further. All you really are doing is ruining a memory and hurting the family.
Personally I always thought he was guilty, but that is just my thought.

I thought he was too fish sticks.
It's not normal for a grown man to shower and sleep with a young boy.
As a mother, it would not happen on my watch.
Money is not everything to me and I think the parent were star struck.

Cases against a deceased person can come back up and haunt that person's legacy but I am more in belief of what you say and a dead man cannot defend him/herself. There are dead people who looked great on the surface and crimes against person are not revealed until after death even years after..

As far as MJ, I had not followed this story, I grew up listening to his music but I was no fan of him bleaching his skin and spending too much time with children...

Because this thread chooses to do so, where he can no longer defend his own self - He's Dead Now.
And, you are only hurting his children in the process of doing so.
NO ONE knows the f.cking truth, not you, nor I - we weren't ever present to judge such.

Have we really all became that small to tarnish his last remains and that of the legacy that he left to his own children that one felt the need to create a thread on such.
SMFH - I think I'll sign off..

I respect your opinion.
I believe I was asking about the documentary and was kinda shocked when it aired.
Like I said, let dead dogs lie and I didn't see the reason for these people to speak out at this time.
I completely agree about his family and children being effected about this show.

That was why I started the thread ..... thanks for the input.

It is not my place to throw accusations at a man I did not even know, cause for all I know, he could’ve been innocent, or guilty as charged.

However, I have read plenty of sources that speaks of MJ never being allowed a childhood. So perhaps he was innocent of the changes he faced. As he did tell the story on the national news, and without fear or regret.

On the other hand, I wouldn’t have allowed my child to sleep in the home and room of an adult I didn’t even know in the first place.
Just a thought.

So I think we all need to stop holding so much speculation and conjecture and leave it all in the past so others can get on with their lives.

It is the victors who rewrite history to usually suit their own narrative and perspectives.

I enjoyed some of his music and I am not saying he is innocent or guilty because I don't know but I think maybe the reason so many of these victims don't speak out sometimes as they are minors and afraid.  Again, I don't know but I would have never allowed my children to spend the night in a house of someone I did not know. But I do agree that it seems a lot of people are in it for the money.

I remember watching something about his childhood and many other child stars.
I can't imagine being the kind of parent to exploit my children.

There are many parents that exploit their children for the sake of wealth, or other such things that many are not even aware of. Such as babysitting and other things that take the children’s childhood away when those parents should be nurturing those childhood memories to begin with.

There are so many that expect more from children than they can give - I’ve seen it with my own eyes and didn’t like what I saw.

And I can understand the need to know what other’s think with regards to this, so I have no objections, however, I think it would be more wise if you changed this thread with another name so you get perspectives on a much wider range than MJ.

I only am making a suggestion here.
And thanks.

I knew the name was about the show. It is all good and as famous as a person is when they have kids they have to suffer the repercussions that goes with that fame and that means the bad with the good.

There is nothing wrong with the name, good discussion and on a documentary.  If someone thinks that someone's kids is going to have their nose out of joint, well that's the price of having famous parents and the kids are adults now.

The corporate news agencies (that the government pays for with our money) don’t want you to see what’s actually happening within our government. So to keep us ignorant they try getting you to talk about anything else so they can blindside us into thinking we have everything under control.

A tactical weapon being used against us so they can consolidate their power.

And it is we the people that they should fear, and will once people see where they went wrong by voting for corporate swine.

I mostly concur, with the exception that those in news know much more about what’s going on but are kept silent in fear for their job. And an example of this is when the Bush administration (JR) was only blathering on about letting oil and gas and coal companies provide for our electric power grid when General Electric, the largest corporate conglomerate, and other big corporations wanted nuclear energy into the market, but Bush and Cheney wasn’t having any of it. So, GE was sitting on a segment of news that should’ve been reported, but wasn’t ... that is, until they went after the Bush administration with the Downing Street Memo.

That’s when the Bush administration did a complete 360 and started preaching how much we desperately needed nuclear power.

Just a helpful hint.

I watched the documentary and was pretty shocked at the allegations. Why does all this stuff surface once someone is dead and not able to defend themselves. Innocent until proven guilty! I would not like to say whether these acts took place or not. So on that basis, I shall not stop listening to his fantastic music. Thanks, Jem.

Exactly, he was brilliant
Of course in my opinion, I thought he was guilty from the start but he was found not guilty and that is how our justice system works. So I didn't lose any sleep over. Kinda like the OJ trials.

But to come out now .... I thought that was pretty lousy.
And for parents to come out about how they used MJ .... the whole documentary was sad.

I've always thought Michael Jackson was a creative genius. In addition, I've always felt that he was denied any type of normal childhood. After reading lots of things about his childhood and how he was treated, I felt very sorry for him. I believed that aside from his musical talent he never actually matured mentally beyond a child.

After all the comments regarding Leaving Neverland and the many texts I received from friends, I decided I'd watch the program. So, I set my DVR to record it from On Demand. Tonight I watched Part One. In the beginning, I felt even more sorry for him than I had in the past. As the program continued, I honestly got sick to my stomach. I still feel like he was a genius. I still feel very sorry for him and the torment he obviously felt. However, I'm now very angry that nobody got that man/child the help he needed and deserved. I believe with all my heart that a lot of people deserve to be in prison for protecting his sexual endeavors and allowing him to prey on young boys.

There's no amount of money that can excuse what happened to that man or the young boys he manipulated. I'm not sure if I'll watch Part Two but I'm thinking I probably will. My God, those boys were children unable to even perform sex much less understand it. That's my take and I don't know how I'll feel if I watch Part Two. Further, I don't know that I'll ever be able to listen to him again without cringing just a little and possibly crying over such a lost soul.

Friends of ours had a picture of Elvis made for her, his face, the gates of Graceland, tickets and something else. I am sure my sister got that when my dad died recently just like she and my brother's got some other things that I would have liked to have had but that's okay.

Yeah, there were only 2 things that I wanted that and a record of Elvis', it was a picture of Elvis on one side and regular record on the other. It played and was worth at one time according to a music collector about $1500.00. I didn't care about the money, I just wanted the record.

Yeah, there were only 2 things that I wanted that and a record of Elvis', it was a picture of Elvis on one side and regular record on the other. It played and was worth at one time according to a music collector about $1500.00. I didn't care about the money, I just wanted the record.

Yes you are right, money is never an issue when it comes to find memories.

My mom had tickets to go see Elvis and he passed away also before she could go.

Elvis died under similar situations to MJ and his life was hell after achieving fame with no privacy even when he was in the Army, both were still active and ready to tour when they died...

Before Sheryl Crow was Sheryl Crow, she toured as a backup singer with Michael Jackson, and now, she has spoken up about the molestation allegations against Jackson depicted in the documentary Leaving Neverland earlier this year.

Here's where Michael Jackson's problems started. The more I look at this story, I'm starting to think the whole thing was a Hoax to make money. Why would MJ say this on a public Interview ? If it wasn't a hoax, MJ was making himself vulnerable, for sure.

I still think he's innocent, but MJ put himself in a bad position. People won't take to a comment like this.

His comment that he likes to sleep with children in his bed, is the spark to his whole ordeal.

Reminds me of the John Lennon and Yoko Ono scene - Give Peace a Chance video - where they lie in their bed in their PJ's as a Peace Protest.

I didn't watch it yet, just saw alot of clips about it. Michael Jackson was already found innocent of charges, the FBI found nothing.

I guess there will be people that think he's guilty of pediphilia and people who who think he's innocent.

You should watch it and you can make up your own mind.  I have little doubt about it.  He was a predator.  I think a lot of it had to do with how he was raised and Joe being such an awful and abusive father and Michael being so sensitive, but it's no excuse.  I don't think he was capable of having normal relationships with adults and was more like a child stuck in a grown man's body.  But how he groomed those kids and families was sick and it's just not normal for a grown man to want to be so close to little kids and sleep with them. You find out a lot more if you watch it.

I watched both episodes before I went to bed and it was so disturbing I did not sleep well that night.

The parents who let it happen ... they had to know ... just sickening that one would expose their kids to a predator so willingly.  The one man, who was abused as a boy, his wife won't let the mom have anything to do with their child and I don't blame her.  I hate that woman.  There is no way I would have let a grown man sleep with my kids.  I don't cRe if Jesus Christ came down from heaven and said he wants to have a sleep over with them.

I've watched lots of docs. about the accusers and their claims, and lots of docs that proove they are liars. Just because MJ was surrounded by kids, does not make him a pedifile. He was already investigated and found innocent. Now this doc. comes up on his 10th anniv. of his death. All about money in my opinion. There is alot of false info. going around about MJ that is prooven lies.

I wonder if Joe Jackson molested him as a child.  That would explain why he said how much he hated his dad when Marlon asked him if he was abusing boys.

I would watch the documentary.  So you can see both sides.  I can totally see how being in that situation would lead those kids to say nothing was going on only to realize as adults what really happened to them.  He also replaced them as they aged out with kids always about the same age.  It's a hallmark of predators like that.

There isn't much of a doubt in my mind.  Even some inconsistencies aren't gonna erase the totality of the circumstances.

Title: Re: Leaving Neverland

I reread this again, are you betting on a players average?

It's kind of gambling, but it's really just a game.  I don't really consider it gambling per se.  There are money prizes and everybody kicks in $120 if they want to be in the league and that is all paid out at the end of the season.  It's kind of like how a bowling league has prize money at the end of they year.

So before the NFL season begins, you have a draft, just like the NFL has every year, except in a fantasy league you are drafting players from different teams.  Each week you can start 1 Quarterback, 2 running backs, 2 receivers 1 tight end, and a flex player (can be a running back, a tight end, or a receiver), 1 kicker, and 1 teams defense.  And depending on how eqchnof those players that you have picked perform (how many TDS they score ... how many catches they make ... how many yards they get ... for a team defense how many sacks they get and interceptions thy get) in the games they play, they will each get you so many points.  You add up all the points your played get eqch weeo of the regular NFL season and that's your teams total.  I did bad last week and only got I think 98 points.

Each week your team will go against another person's team in the league.  So I only got 98 points last week, but the guy I played got 142.  So he beat me.  After one week in the season I am 0-1 and the guy I played against last week
Is 1-0, cause he beat me.  This week I go up against a different person.

So you have your 1 QB, your 2 running backs, 2 receivers, tight end, flex player, kicker and defense you start every week, but you also have players on your bench that you drafted.  So you might have two good QBs on your team and you have to decide which one will start for you each week, because you can only start 1 QB.

During the season you can also release players on your team and replace them with players nobody drafted.  So right now I can drop any player on my team and replace him with any player that is not on another person's team in my league.  I couldn't do that this week though until Thursday. Before Thursday if I wanted to add a player to my team you have to go through waivers.

During that period you have to bid anonymously on the player you want and whoever bids the most for that player will get him. Each person with a team gets 150 points for bidding on such players for the entire year. So I wanted Marquis Brown from the raiders cause he's a rookie receiver that nobody drafted, cause he's a rookie receiver and rookie receivers almost always take a year or two to become good in the league.  Well this guy had 2 TDS for the Baltimore ravens and a whole bunch of yards.  So there is a good chance he's gonna be a really good receiver because that's very unusual for a rookie receiver to put up those numbers in his first game ever in the NFL.

So I bid 51 of my waiver points for him, which is a lot, but I lost and didn't get him, cause my brother out bid me.

This is all new to me.  I've never been in a league before.  My brother had been in fantasy leagues for years and years and won all 4 leagues he was in last year.  So I'm kind of at a disadvantage cause this is my first year and I am still learning the ropes.

I was predicted at the beginning of the season to have the best team along with my dada team (we were tied for best in the prediction), but I don't think I'm gonna win the league or do very well this year.  We'll see though.

A rookie running back can come in the league and immediately tear it up if he's good.  Rookie receivers almost never do great from day 1.  Even the best of all time.

He luved to be friends with children and teens, that was his pesonality, there is NO proof he molested anyone, lots of accusations, he was an easy target because of his associating with children and teens. This was MJ's personality, he wanted to spread joy and happinness around the world.

That doesn't mean he was innocent and he settled with a lot of money to pay his victims. If he was that innocent, he would not have paid. Plus grown men don't share their beds with children period.

His personality as a pervert. If you notice, he never had girls over but always involved himself with boys. That has **** written all over. It must be nice to be as naive as you are. He was not a pervert. He had many girlfriends, including Elvis Presleys daughter as a wife. He wanted his own chidren so bad he had a gf of his have his babies for him. He wanted a family.

BTW the manner of which I would raise childen is off the topic. Has nothing to do with MJ's life. I most likely would be over protective of them, afraid of them getting hurt out there in the world. I stick to Iguanas and cats or dogs.

He married Elvis' daughter and Deborah Rowe had kids  by him.  They don't even believe he fathered those kids and that doesn't make a family when you are some perverted child molester. If he was so innocent, why did he pay those people off? Innocent people don't pay off lawsuits instead they fight. Sorry, he is a pervert and no self respecting man lets kids in his bed.
Yeah, you would be what is called a helicopter parent and too overprotective and they would never learn to stand on their own 2 feet.  So glad you don't have any because they would end up having to be raised by others because you would make them too self reliant and not independent.  People like you make kids too dependent on others and not make them self sufficient on their own.

I dont believe he was a pervert, just a very friendly guy who liked kids, who wanted to give them the world. As for buying any Florida land from you, forget it, way to hot for me, I'd rather go North as far as I can if I had the opportunity.

To all parties who want to argue about M.J., I present you with this article.

https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-features/michael-jackson-child-sexual-abuse-allegations-timeline-785746/

In it, you'll find it was those children's parents who saw dollar signs. Children can also be manipulated into giving false statements by police, and by their own parents.

I won't say either way because I wasn't there. Just as anyone of you weren't there.
Good day.

Mine as well. Even Macaulay Culkin came into MJ'S defense and said that he was never once touched by MJ in an inappropriate manor. The FBI had also stated he did not commit any crime. That's why I don't believe MJ is guilty of any crime.

Here's the timeline on the alligations against MJ and he was acquitted of all charges. A juror even questioned why a mother would allow her child to sleep with anyone. So, yeah. I'd say those parents saw money to be made from a lawsuit involving MJ and thought it would be easy money. With no cigar.

I understand your feelings on this, but yes, many children can and indeed have been manipulated into a false testimony against MJ, as described here is Bipolar. So I don't buy into their nonsense when confronted with the facts. That's what I'm all about.

If you are going to make accusations against anyone, do not just give your story, but back it up with facts at your local hospital and just after the deed was done. Not years after the fact, and, with no hospital records, as testimonies are a dime a dozen.

In our time today, did you know that anyone, and I mean anyone can make an accusation against you? And do you know what the police will do?
Take your ass to jail in no uncertain terms. While it used to be, you were innocent until proven guilty, now it's the other way around. Why? Simple.

Companies want as many in jail as they can get. Even if it ruins lives. Why?
They get kickbacks from the state and have FREE LABOR.
This all started under the Bush family of crook's.

Not entirely so. California is a state with many cops on the force who are racist pigs, as has been demonstrated countless years those police forces have existed. Same holds for New York and elsewhere. But if it's a red state, you can bet hits worse. WV comes to mind.

The system used to be based more on evidence and less on someone else's testimony, as it's been shown that people can make trouble for you just by giving false reporting. That's a fact. I know several that were incarcerated for a crime they never committed and this bullchit needs to stop.

MJ had a bad childhood, his father was abusive, however, you can't ignore the facts that many of those parents saw dollar signs. Coupled with the fact that MJ never really had a childhood.

I’m not going to be tricked into having friendly discussions then POW a temper tantrum from out of nowhere with unseen and unknown events happening that I’m unaware of.. it’s like I’m a personal emotional punching bag .. every time.. BAM.. right in the gizzards..  which I don’t even have but went along with it to keep princess happy.. geese wasn’t I the fool.. spell it geese now instead of geesh.. another road bump I went along with.. I am.. I’m such a fool for putting myself my heart in that situation.. gotta protect myself from the buzzards now.. yup they’re around.. they eat the flying monkeys.. I shed a real tear.. real oil and livecrock was the last straw peeps.. everything I did wasn’t real or perfected enough to be real.. my life story so far.. waiting for the cows to come home

What you personally think doesn't matter in the real world, because your opinion of CC and myself doesn't matter. I always liked Fishsticks.
