I suppose the bigger question is do you bypass federal charges and let the SDNY have them. NY has been working their case for years. They might be better prepared. Unless I overlooked it Trump can’t pardon on state charges.

Thank you for finding this and this is as I suspected regarding the Capitol Riot and how republican rioters don’t want to admit to wrongdoing, or otherwise.
