I was watching some coverage of that attack today, I think it was all performative art.   Iran had to do something but really didn't want to start a war so they told us when and where so we would shoot them down.

It was BS for the home audience, Iran never intended to do any real damage.
I heard it was testing how we would react .

I doubt that more that 500 republicans know that.
Teaman knows but chooses to ignore it.

What a lot of people don’t realize because Donald Trump is such a liar is he’s not being prosecuted for paying Stormy Daniels hush money. That’s perfectly legal and acceptable. He’s being charged because he filtered the money thru Michael Cohen so it wouldn’t be revealed during his campaign for President. That’s Election Fraud. However he’s so dumb and so are his followers they don’t realize or understand that. They blame the entire ordeal on Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohen. It’s neither one of their faults he’s a sleaze, a simpleton, a fraud, and a liar. And, as sad as it is, the heathen is still blowing off to his followers how it’s everyone else’s fault that he lied and connived.
He's wanting to to Barron's graduation , if he would have been home with him when he was a baby
insted of raw dogging Stormy he could go!

Welp, it’s 12.34 A.M. in my little corner of the world and I just finished doing my taxes and got them paid online. Can you believe they charge an exorbitant amount to pay online with your debit card? I think that’s preposterous!! I had to pay an extra 83.92 in fees to pay using my debit card. That just adds insult to injury. They’ll probably send me a bill for penalty and interest for paying 30 minutes late.

Oh well, I’m done and I don’t have to worry with it for another stinking year. I’m gonna make estimated tax payments this year so my burden won’t be so much. I have taxes taken out of my Retirement but that wasn’t enough and I have other income. It just sucks!
That does suck.

That’s because they feed out of his trough and gobble up all his lies. Watching his followers makes me understand what Jim Jones was able to do. I don’t get it. He’s fat, ugly, and obnoxious but they believe he’s the Messiah and he’s come to save them.

I know some of them, I used to think they were fairly bright people, I have no idea what happened to them.  Self brainwashing I guess.

"..Republicans on SCOTUS wrote 26 pages of preening about "major questions of national importance" (Kavanaugh, p. 5) to justify using an extraordinary procedure to reinstate an anti-trans law with no purpose except to prevent <1,000 minors in Idaho from receiving medical care.."

Anyone who has paid any attention knows that trump is guilty.  And most likely he has done similar many times in the past, he just got caught for this one.

This is a CNN war update.
Also 2 Palestinian farmers killed Monday by settlers in West Bank.

Hamas lowers number of hostages it's willing to release as part of a ceasefire deal, Israeli source says
From CNN’s Jeremy Diamond in Tel Aviv

Hamas has slashed the number of hostages it is willing to release during the first phase of a ceasefire deal by more than half, an Israeli source close to the negotiations said.

In its latest counterproposal, Hamas offered to release fewer than 20 hostages in exchange for a six-week ceasefire, more than halving the number of 40 hostages that has been the basis of negotiations for months now, representing a significant step backward in the talks.

A senior Biden administration official confirmed that Hamas is focused on those 20 for the first phase of a potential ceasefire deal. The official also confirmed Hamas is telling mediators that it only has around 20 remaining hostages who are women or sick, wounded and elderly men.

Hamas also called for the release of more Palestinian prisoners in exchange for fewer hostages, the source said, as well as a higher number of prisoners serving life sentences.

The Israeli source said the latest Hamas counterproposal signals that Yahya Sinwar, the Hamas leader in Gaza, does not want a deal, seeking to exploit fissures between the US and Israel over Israeli military operations in Gaza and domestic pressure on the Israeli government.

Basem Naim, a Hamas spokesperson, said Hamas had proposed “releasing (three) captured Israelis each week,” but said “no one is talking about final numbers.”

Beyond the ratio of Palestinian prisoners, Hamas is continuing to demand assurances about a permanent ceasefire, the withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza and unrestricted access for Palestinians to return to northern Gaza.

“I think part of this is Hamas thinks they're winning. Because their definition of success is survival and they've survived so far,” the Biden official said. “The longer the conflict has gone on the more recalcitrant Hamas has become rather than the other way around.”

I think the Hope Hicks testimony will be extremely important.

What is hush money? Donald Trump isn't charged with paying p orn star, but hiding it
Trump contends he was paying for a non-disclosure agreement, which he argued was a private deal not involved with his 2016 presidential campaign.
USA TODAY

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said the core of the case against Trump is 'not money for sex' but hiding payments in business records and 'conspiring to corrupt a presidential election.'

Trump has argued he was paying private lawyer Michael Cohen for a non-disclosure agreement that had nothing to do his campaign. Trump has denied having sex with **** actress Stormy Daniels.

Former President Donald Trump isn’t charged with making a $130,000 payment to **** actress Stormy Daniels in exchange for a non-disclosure agreement, but for allegedly falsifying business records to hide the payment.

In addition, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg elevated the charges from misdemeanors to felonies by alleging they were connected to other criminal activity, which he didn't specify. One option for the additional crime Bragg outlined is a campaign finance violation because buying Daniels’ silence before the 2016 election could have influenced the outcome.

Bragg described the payments to Daniels and another woman, former Playboy model Karen McDougal, as part of a “catch-and-kill” strategy to prevent the women from telling their stories. But the criminal charges are that Trump falsified his company’s business records to conceal the payments.

"The core is not money for sex," Bragg said in a radio interview in December. "We would say it's about conspiring to corrupt a presidential election and then lying in New York business records to cover it up."

34 felony counts of falsifying business records.
Trump’s former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, has testified to Congress he arranged the payment to Daniels and Trump reimbursed him a total of $420,000 for the payment, his tax liability and a bonus, through a series of monthly $35,000 payments.

Cohen pleaded guilty and served time in prison on a campaign finance violation as part of a broader federal case. Contributions to federal campaigns from individuals are strictly limited to a few thousand dollars per person.

Trump has said the payments were a retainer for Cohen’s services, which Cohen denied in sworn testimony. Trump also argued he was paying for a non-disclosure agreement, a private contract that had nothing to do with the campaign.
