I believe in banning machine guns. They kill lots of people quickly.

As a female. A semi automatic hand gun is comfortable for me.  With all the drug crimes coming over our open borders. I will protect myself and family.

I apologize to everyone reading this. Joanna get's jealous if she see's me talking to another female(?) poster as seen here and does everything in her power to get my attention again. Even to the point of showboating offtopic delusions and poor psychoanalytical skills for attention  so I have to stop the discussion to take time to address her covetousness, wanton female sexual urges.

 For some time now, I have tracked her ovulation with careful scrutiny and observation via the varying degree's of aggressiveness she displays in her posts while I'm engaged in conversation with another female poster over the last 6 years, and  have come to the conclusions that she exhibits characteristics  of the typical Midwest seasonal breeder (heightened sexual proclivities - March to mid May)

I have tried to constantly reassure her that there is an overabundance of me intellectually to go around. My brainpower is known to be very considerable -almost herculean in some aspects and borderlining on a monumental and breathtaking, colossal girth that I am able to wield with great pleasure to my readers.


Again, I apologize and ask certain allowances for Joanna during this time period. Women can be such fickle creatures when it comes to claiming territorial dominance and 'marking' someone for what they see as their future genetic propagation. 

Now that's addressed, we can get back to the topic at hand.

This is like trying to unravel a Gordian Knot, the problems are some what multifaceted when dealing with firearms and gun control, it isn't just a 1 and done deal.... where to even begin.



First, Gun control fails to address the underlying  source of the problem  -Moral Decay in America.   And nobody wants or is going to talk about it, so this is all just an exercise in futility in the end.  Gun control is a band-aid "fix" at best, it would be like going to a Doctor because your arm is broken and hurts, but all he does is give you morphine to mask the pain but fails to set your arm. Obvious, the symptom is masked but the root cause of those symptoms remains.  You can try and legislate morality from the Halls of Justice, but if the hearts and minds of the people remain defunct that are being governed, it's a halfassed all but useless measure.  Just look at the "War on Drugs" as an example and see how that is going.

Not that people were perfect back in the "Good old 1950's" as my good friend Joanna likes to point out. That generation had it's own set of problems.  But I think Americans in general had a little more cooth, shame  and dignity back then. Today we live in a society that we are constantly bombarded and desensitized by multi-billion dollar mass media and advertising of  violence, sexual promiscuity, drugs and hypermaterialism- anything goes!

Also, the "mental health" argument is a very touchy one. Here is the way I interpret as to why. Since you now have Government inching it's way into healthcare. It's absolutely ripe for corruption. We already see how the Government wields it's power to push it's agenda with the Education system, if you don't bow to it's whims, you're defunded, along with a few other professions. We have also seen the IRS being used to target certain groups in America.  If we have a fully controlled government health care system, does anyone besides the naive think that  the probability of it's leverage will be used to persuade Healthcare providers to deem people it see's as a threat as "mentally unstable"?


(Probably  a big reason why a lot of Americans are not totally persuaded about Global warming, since a lot of these scientists are funded by Government grants and the solution is seemly viewed as  "higher taxes")

Well, after hearing the left tell us everyday how corrupt and oppressive the Government is over the last 2 years, I don't think anyone can deny the possibility that one day somebody just might have to overthrow the Government. Our forefathers understood that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely, and gave us safeguards within the Constitution in case that day should ever arise again.  One of those is the right of the people to bear arms shall not be infringed. It's not the first time in history and it wont be the last that it has happened.  So, gun control is seen by some to be a preemptive move to confiscate firearms to rob the people their ability to do so against a corrupt Government.  I think we can all admit, the US Government is very corrupt.

It is that we have not done enough to check for mental illness before allowing guns to be bought and sold to people. People will continue to violate the laws of having a gun and owning them until something is done about that.

Hah!  I grew up on a farm and was always around long guns shotguns and such. Actually belonged to a shooting club in high school. We took our guns to school and stored them in our lockers until after class where we would take a bus to a nearby range to practice. We were furnished ammo at the range and didn't have that in our lockers__mostly didn't anyway.

During that era, boys carried knives to school, girls had scissors, nail files and the like and weirdly everyone survived. Crazy eh?

Will add that we had some really fast cars back then, prior to seatbelts, disk brakes and so on.

Funerals were a regular occurrence. Muscle cars and Vietnam, can't believe I survived both.
Most of the guys I went to school with had gun racks and guns in their trucks. Heck, the vice principal and one of my friends even traded shot guns in the parking lot.  It is a different time than it was then. We tended to work out disagreements better than just showing up and shooting someone because they didn't like what was said.

No rational and sane thinking mind would consider someone stating blacks need to address their own violent culture if they're actually worried about it as this man is in the video, and pointing out that coming from a broken, fatherless homes regardless of race has a known and documented detrimental effect to kids and needs to be addressed so that less inner city blacks die, would ever be considered "racist".

The title of this thread isn't strictly about gun control, but about "Cholion Noir on gun control".
The heading on the video provided in the OP is titled "Why gun control won't fix inner city violence", so this topic started off more than just about "gun control", but about "(black) inner city violence" as well.





The first video I responded to, the man is talking about inner city 'gun' violence and how the media ignores it if its blacks being killed instead of white suburbans.
 "All the privilege (white) celebrities thinking it was all the rage to adopt random black kids from Africa"
"These people" alluding to whites.
So a racial tone has already been established that has nothing to do with "gun control", and it wasn't me.


 Joanna is probably feeling embarrassed about now showing everyone how brainwashed she is thinking only 'whitey' bringing up race is "classless", while completely ignoring non-whites who do. Her self-loathing liberal white guilt never fails to make herself the fool.



I addressed why violence is prevalent in black culture in response to the posted information by Fish-Sticks in the OP.
This man himself claims that access to guns isn't the cause, but fails to address the root cause of the violence and a "fix"- I did.
If this black man really cared about black inner city kids dying, he would address the "ghetto gangster" violent black culture instead of making half the video into a racially motivated 'whitey don't care' rant disguised as an objective gun control debate.
